    Abstract: Provided is a motor device that makes the influence of noise more equal between two signal processing circuits. A rotation angle sensor has a bias magnet, a magnetic sensor unit, a first signal processing circuit, and a second signal processing circuit. The first signal processing circuit is placed symmetrically with the second signal processing circuit in a longitudinal direction of a substrate with respect to the magnetic sensor unit located on a line extended from a central axis of a rotary shaft. An inverter is also placed symmetrically with an inverter in the longitudinal direction of the substrate with respect to the magnetic sensor unit.

Long guide holes that are long in the radial direction of a sun roller and ring-shaped roller are provided in guide blocks that are fastened to a support frame for supporting the end sections of rotation shafts of intermediate rollers. The outer rings of ball bearings, of which the inner rings are fitted around and fastened to the outside of the end sections of the rotation shafts, engage with the long guide holes so as to be able to displace in the radial direction of the sun roller and the ring-shaped roller.

    Abstract: In a VVA apparatus for an internal combustion engine wherein the position of contact of a cam face of a VO cam with respect to the top face of a valve lifter is changed in accordance with a change in a rocking fulcrum of a rocker arm to alter the valve lift, the maximum valve lift is obtained in a first rotated position of a control shaft where an axis of a control cam is adjacent to a driving shaft. The minimum valve lift is obtained in a second rotated position of the control shaft where the axis of the control cam is positioned near a first pivotal point of the rocker arm and a crank arm with respect to a first line connecting the axis of the control shaft and the axis of the control cam upon the maximum valve lift.

    Abstract: An electromagnetic drive system for repeatedly opening and closing a valve of an internal combustion engine is comprised of an electromagnetic drive mechanism and a damper mechanism. The electromagnetic drive mechanism comprises a pair of electromagnets, an armature disposed between the electromagnets and a pair of springs setting the armature at a neutral position between the electromagnets when both the electromagnets are de-energized. The electromagnets are alternately energized and de-energized according to a control signal. The damper mechanism is interlocked with the electromagnetic drive mechanism and functions to decrease a speed of displacement of the valve at a terminating period of each of a valve-closing stroke and a valve-opening stroke of the valve.
