  • Publication number: 20150201785
Abstract: [Problem to be solved] To provide a method for operating a food mill and an automatic food milling apparatus suitable for various foodstuffs heated and softened using superheated vapor are milled by passing the foodstuffs through a strainer while maximally suppressing destruction of cells of the foodstuffs, to continuously manufacture puree with original colors, odors, tastes, and nutritional values kept unchanged. [Solution] A rotation speed difference between a upper mortar and a lower mortar is used to crush and ground ingredient foodstuffs by a shearing force between the upper mortar and the lower mortar, and a conical recessed surface of the lower mortar is utilized to separate the crushed ingredient foodstuffs into filtered foodstuffs and residues by a centrifugal force resulting from rotation of the lower mortar so that the filtered foodstuffs and the residues are collected in a filtered foodstuff collection unit and a residue collection unit, respectively.

  • Patent number: 8800436
Abstract: A heating device of a food material that can heat a food material while preventing oxidation reaction and the like of the food material as much as possible is provided. A food material 8 is held under a reductive atmosphere where air is eliminated by filling superheated steam in a heating chamber 10 at a pressure exceeding an atmospheric pressure. Thus, because the food material 8 is heated under the reductive atmosphere where air is eliminated by filling the superheated steam, not under a conventional atmosphere where oxygen and nitrogen exist. Therefore, a Maillard reaction and an oxidation reaction can be suppressed, and a thermochemical reaction which could not be caused in the conventional heating method is caused in the food material 8. Thereby, it can be expected that the heated food material 8 acquires a characteristic which did not exist in the past, with less degradation.

  • Publication number: 20120121616
Abstract: Disclosed is a novel use of superheated stream-treated material. Disclosed is an immune balance-regulating agent comprising a superheated steam-treated product of crown daisy (Chrysanthemum coronarium). This immune balance-regulating agent, which comprises, as the active ingredient, a superheated stream-treated product of crown daisy that has been used as a food for a long time, is a composition having a very high safety and exerting an effect of controlling and normalizing the immune balance of a living organism. The present invention has been completed based on the finding that the superheated steam-treated product of crown daisy has anti-infective and antitumor activities based on type-1 immune stimulating effect and, moreover, shows an effect of ameliorating allergic diseases, which are caused by excessive type 2 immune responses, by controlling immune balance.

  • Patent number: 7171750
Abstract: To provide a method of producing a torsional damper to prevent an annular rubber undulation in the pressing of the annular rubber between a hub and an annular mass, improve strain durability of the torsional damper, and decrease a press-in load in the press-in of the annular rubber, and enhance axial and radial run-out accuracy of the annular mass to a hub bore portion. To this end, in the method of producing the torsional damper made by pressing the annular rubber in an axial direction between the hub and the annular rubber, a silane coupling agent is applied to the hub faces and the annular mass between which faces the annular rubber is pressed, and the agent is dried. A fitting liquid is then applied to any one of the hub, the annular mass or the annular rubber, and the annular rubber is pressed between the hub and the annular mass.

  • Patent number: 7150088
Abstract: In order to increase a sliding torque between a hub (1), an annular rubber (2) and an annular mass (3) without increasing a pressure inserting load at a time of assembling a torsional damper, a silane coupling agent is applied to an outer peripheral surface (1a) of the hub (1) and an inner peripheral surface (2a) of the annular mass (2) arranged outside the hub (1), or inner and outer peripheral surfaces (3a, 3b) of the annular rubber (3) to be pressure inserted between the peripheral surfaces (1a, 2a) by a spray or dipping method, thereafter applying a lubricating fluid thereto by a spray or dipping method, and pressure inserting the annular rubber (3) between the peripheral surfaces (1a, 2a).
