  • Patent number: 6112070
Abstract: A receiving wave containing a desired signal and received through an antenna is inputted to an interstage band-pass filter 4 after the component outside a receiving band of the receiving wave has been attenuated by a receiving band-pass filter 2a. A phase locked loop circuit 9 outputs a frequency control voltage corresponding to a selected channel to a voltage control oscillator 8 and also outputs this frequency control voltage to an interstage band-pass filter 4 as a band control voltage thereof. The voltage control oscillator 8 generates a local carrier wave in response to the frequency control voltage. The interstage variable band-pass filter 4 has a passing band width which is a little wider than channel band width and varies its passing band in response to the band control voltage so as to include the selected channel, thereby attenuating the component outside the passing band of the receiving wave inputted from the low noise amplifier 3 and then inputs the receiving wave to a mixer 5.

  • Patent number: 6041081
Abstract: A CDMA transmitter having a variable gain circuit inserted between a transmitter mixer and a transmitter antenna. The gain is controlled in response to the RF output power so that the spurious emission level at the maximum RF output power and that at output power reduced by a predetermined amount can be both satisfied. This makes it possible to increase the degree of freedom of choosing circuit components in the RF stage.

  • Patent number: 6011980
Abstract: A wireless telecommunication equipment having a receiver portion and a transmitter portion. An automatic gain control amplifier having a gain varied in accordance with an automatic gain control signal input thereto is located in the receiver portion of the equipment, and a transmission power control amplifier having a gain varied in accordance with an open loop control signal input thereto is located in the transmitter portion of said equipment. The automatic gain control and the transmission power control amplifiers have the same operating characteristics.

  • Patent number: 5844868
Abstract: A digital-analog shared circuit in dual mode radio equipment, which shares a local oscillator in a digital mode and analog mode. A first frequency synthesizer generates a first and a second local oscillation frequency in a digital and an analog receiving mode, respectively, in response to a control signal from a switching control. In the digital receiving mode, a quadrature demodulater including a first and a second demodulator in a demodulator section is enabled, and carries out quadrature detection of a received signal fed from an RF stage, thereby supplying the detected signal to a baseband signal processor stage. In the analog receiving mode, a buffer to which the second local oscillation frequency is supplied is enabled to deliver the second local oscillation frequency to the analog IF stage. A second frequency synthesizer generates a third local oscillation frequency in a digital transmitting mode and a fourth local oscillation frequency in an analog transmitting mode.

  • Patent number: 5475875
Abstract: An antenna switching circuit comprises a first amplifier including a first FET receiving a first receive signal from a first antenna at a gate of the first FET, and amplifying the first receive signal, and outputting the amplified signal via a drain of the first FET to an output terminal, and a second amplifier including a second FET receiving a second receive signal from a second antenna at a gate of the second FET, and amplifying the second receive signal and outputting the amplified signal via a drain of the second FET to the output terminal. The first and second FETs are coupled to receive, at their sources, first and second control signals complementary to each other so that one of the FETs is made active while the other is made inactive, depending on values of the first and second control signals. The consumption current is reduced, and in addition, an amplifier in a receiver provided to receive the output of the antenna switching circuit may be omitted.

  • Patent number: 4870698
Abstract: An output power control circuit is provided in a casing of a mobile radio apparatus together with an automatic power control circuit and an RF signal amplifier. The output power control circuit applied level control signals to the automatic power control circuit for maintaining the power level of the output RF signal of the RF amplifier at one of a plurality of output power levels corresponding to the level control signals. The output power control circuit has a receiver, a temperature sensing circuit and a logic circuit. The receiver receives RF signals transmitted by a master station and detects power level setting command signals included in the received RF signal. The temperature sensing circuit detects an internal temperature of the casing and provides a power reduction signal upon detecting that the internal temperature has exceeded a predetermined temperature.

  • Patent number: 4531819
Abstract: A device for storing exposed film for a photographing and developing apparatus comprises a first pinch roller pair provided in the vicinity of a storage reel, a second pinch roller pair provided at a spacing from the storage reel and a guide means for guiding exposed film from the first pinch roller pair to the second pinch roller pair. The first and second pinch roller pairs, the guide means and associated film transport roller means are controlled as to the direction of rotation and position, whereby an exposed film portion supplied from a photographing unit is taken up once on a film storage reel and then reliably fed to a developing unit by the action of the guide member.

  • Patent number: 4370041
Abstract: Combination photographing and developing apparatus incorporates in the photographing section thereof a storage reel capable of being selectively rotated in the forward or rearward direction in addition to a payoff reel having a roll of film thereon. During photography, the storage reel is rotated in the forward direction synchronously with the photographing operation to take up the exposed portion of the film thereon. When the photographing operation is completed, the film is cut at the tail end of the exposed portion thereof and the storage reel is rotated in the rearward direction, so that the exposed portion of the film is forwarded, with the cut tail end thereof in the lead, to the developing section, there to be developed and dried.
