  • Patent number: 4894317
Abstract: A method of forming a printed circuit by use of a specified photo-curable coating composition. The photo-curable coating composition is a photo-curable or ionizing radiation-curable powder coating composition containing a thermoplastic resin in a solid state at normal temperature, and having 0.5 to 5 of a polymerizable unsaturated group per 1000 of number average molecular weight, as a film-forming component.

  • Patent number: 4882209
Abstract: A method for producing a glass capillary tube, which comprises drawing under heating a multiple tube assembly comprising a plurality of glass tubes having different diameters arranged coaxially one in another and simultaneously integrating the assembly by heat fusion.

  • Patent number: 4710216
Abstract: A bundle of optical fibers each covered by an acid-soluble borosilicate glass is treated with an acid solution, with an alkali solution, and then with an acid solution to completely remove the acid-soluble glass from the middle portion between the end portions of the optical fiber bundle. A plastic material is charged into the interstices among the fibers at the boundary portions between the middle portion and the end portions. These interstices are free of any insoluble residue of the acid-soluble glass. A reinforcement is formed around the periphery of at least a part of the boundary portions by covering the periphery with a flexible plastic material or by winding a linear member around the periphery.

  • Patent number: 4670880
Abstract: According to the present invention, each data (one byte data in the embodiments described below) is transferred three times in total. The original data is transferred as it is on one time, a data made by inverting the original data is transferred on another time, and a data made by permuting all bits of the original data on the remaining time. A receiver reconstructs the data by reconverting the inverted and bit permuted data to their original forms and determining a majority among these data and the separately transferred original data. The bit permuted data is generated, for example, by rotating right or left the original data by a predetermined number of bits utilizing a recirculating shift register. The receiver must perform a bit permuting operation which is reverse to that of the sender.

  • Patent number: 4588601
Abstract: A method of producing a paste product like lobster's meat is disclosed which comprises dividing finely paste product, which product has been already coagulated by heating; mixing said divided product with protein mixture and molding the resulting mixture, the mixing and/or molding procedure being carried out under reduced pressure; and then heating the molded product. The thus obtained paste product like lobster's meat according to the present invention has moderately hard flesh, and during chewing, an elastic and pleasant mouth feel is obtained as if eating natural lobster's meat.

  • Patent number: 4453962
Abstract: A number of three-layer optical fibers each having a core a cladding and an overcoating layer of acid-soluble glass material are bonded together by means of an adhesive which can be removed by applying heat. The bonded optical fibers are heated and stretched to obtain a solid optical fiber bundle. The solid optical fiber bundle is brought into contact with an acid to elute (leach away) the overcoating layer of the acid-soluble glass material.

  • Patent number: 3936368
Abstract: A method for curing a coating film wherein a filmforming, polymerizable, organic coating material is electrodeposited upon an electroconductive object as an anode immersed in an aqueous dispersion of an acidic alkyd resin modified with conjugated unsaturated fatty acid and/or oil, wherein the acidic alkyd resin has an oil length in the range of 10 to 60 wt % and a resin acid value in the range of 30 to 100, being neutralized with water soluble bases, and then the curing coating film thus obtained by applying ionizing radiation.
