  • Patent number: 6399195
Abstract: A core-sheath composite type polyester monofilament for use in a screen gauze in which the sheath ingredient is a polyester formed by adding and copolymerizing, based on the polyester, 2 to 10% by weight of a polyalkylene oxide with a coloration degree (APHA) after heating at 175° C. for one hour of 30 or less and having a number average molecular weight of from 300 to 4000 and having a peak temperature (Tmax) of a dynamic loss tan (tan &dgr;), at a measuring frequency of 110 Hz of from 97 to 120° C. which is lower by 10° C. or more than that for the core and the area ratio of core to sheath is within a range from 60:40 to 90:10. The polyester monofilament for use in a screen gauze is a monofilament for use in the high mesh screen gauze capable of completely preventing formation of scams during weaving, satisfactory in the gauze tension and excellent in the dimensional stability of gauze and in the adhesion to the photosensitive resin.

  • Patent number: 4729913
Abstract: An artificial fur having chinchilla-like appearance and hand, which consists of a substrate fabric and piles provided on at least one surface thereof, which piles comprise underhairs of 0.5 to less than 4.0 deniers, having an average length of 10.about.35 mm, a hair density of 8,000.about.30,000 hairs/cm.sup.2, a crimp ratio of at most 20%, a frictional coefficient in the right direction of 1.6 or less and a frictional coefficient ratio of the adverse direction to the right direction of 1.0.about.1.4. The piles preferably further comprise guard hairs of 4.about.50 deniers, equal to or a little longer than underhairs, having a hair density of 3,000 hairs/cm.sup.2 or less. The piles preferably have color variations lengthwise.

  • Patent number: 4309479
Abstract: Conductive composite filaments in which a conductive component composed of a synthetic thermoplastic fiber-forming polymer containing conductive carbon black and a non-conductive component composed of a synthetic thermoplastic fiber-forming polymer which is same as or different from the former polymer are continuously bonded in the longitudinal direction and in the cross-section the segments of the above described conductive component are radially extended to at least two directions and the segments of the above described non-conductive component fill between the conductive segments.
