Patent number: 5809031Abstract: The present invention provides an apparatus of stuff synchronization frame control which can realize great improvement in the power of error resistance of the stuff synchronization control bit when there occur so many erroneous stuff synchronization control bits that cannot be repaired even by the majority process in a radio section. Radio-side and network-side clocks from the clock counters 11 and 12 are compared by the comparator 13, and the comparison result is inputted into the register 14. On an entry of a new stuff synchronization control bit into the register 14, the stuff synchronization control bit in the frame immediately before the entry is stored in the register 15. The multiplexer 16 multiplexes the stuff synchronization control bit together with transmission data for transmission. The separator 21 receives the data separated from the received data, in the received data buffer 22.Type: GrantFiled: September 23, 1996Date of Patent: September 15, 1998Assignee: NEC CorporationInventors: Kiyotaka Horikawa, Tsutomu Nozaki

Patent number: 5061527Abstract: Spray coating is performed utilizing a mixture of refractory material and a combustionable metal powder. The size of the particle of the metal in the mixture is selected so that the particle size is large enough to be treated safely and is small enough to be transported by means of a gas flow. As a carrier gas for carrying the mixture, a non-combustionable gas or fuel gas is used. A fuel gas and a combustion-assisting gas are discharged toward the section to be treated on the surface for directing a combustioning frame. The refractor material with the carrier gas is discharged into the frame established by the fuel gas and the combustion-assisting gas. The average size of the metal particle to be used in the spray coating is limited to be greater than 50 .mu.m. By enlarging the particle size of the metal, combustion of the metal particle becomes difficult. Combustion of such large particle size metal can be assisted by discharging the combustion-assisting gas together with the fuel gas.Type: GrantFiled: December 26, 1990Date of Patent: October 29, 1991Assignee: Kawasaki Steel CorporationInventors: Seiji Watanabe, Mitsuo Saito, Akihiko Nanba, Tsutomu Nozaki, Tetsuya Fujii, Tsuyoshi Nakamoto, Motoyasu Yaji

Patent number: 4817702Abstract: A method and apparatus for continuous casting of an elongated thin metal strip achieves substantially high yield without allowing break-out or sticking. The method for casting a continuous elongated metal strip includes a step of driving endless belts at a varying speed so as to apply jerks to the slightly and half-solidified metal that release the metal from the surfaces of the stationary side walls. Applying jerks to the casting chamber by varying the driving speed of the endless belt ensures that the solidifying metal will travel smoothly and thus ensures a high manufacturing yield.Type: GrantFiled: September 29, 1987Date of Patent: April 4, 1989Assignee: Kawasaki Steel CorporationInventors: Seiji Itoyama, Hakaru Nakato, Tsutomu Nozaki, Yasuhiro Habu, Nagayasu Bessho, Tetsuya Fujii
