Abstract: According to one embodiment, an information processing apparatus is applied to a client management system which manages desktop environments of client terminals. The apparatus includes a first module and a second module. The first module creates a first image file for each group classified by model-independent elements of the client terminals. The first image file is a disk image file for the desktop environments. The first image file does not contain model-dependent elements of the client terminals. The second module creates a difference file for building a second image file containing the model-dependent elements of the client terminals based on the first image file.

Abstract: According to one embodiment, an information processing apparatus includes a monitor module configured to control and simultaneously operate a plurality of software resources executed on the operating system on one hardware resource, one of the software resources is a server software resource operated as a server, a one of the software resources is a client software resource utilizing service of the server software resource, the hardware resource has a user disk space in which data used by the client software resource is stored, and the server software resource has an access right control module which attempts to communicate with a management server connected via a network when the client software resource is started, acquires an key from the management server, authenticates the acquired key, and provides a right of access to the user disk space for the client software resource when it is determined that the key is valid.

Abstract: A CPU selects frequency data from a flash memory at power-on and performs processing of tuning in to a data transmission frequency in a downlink in an RF interface. The flash memory includes a cache area for storing previously used frequency data in addition to a frequency table. The CPU selects frequency data with priority from the cache area.
