  • Patent number: 9320154
Abstract: An electrode connected to a TH pad requiring electric conduction is formed on a bonded surface of a first multilayer substrate having piercing TH to form a solder bump on the electrode. An electrode connected to the TH pad is formed on a bonded surface of a second multilayer substrate to be bonded having a piercing TH at a position opposite the electrode formed on the first multilayer substrate to form a solder bump on the electrode. A three-layered sheet is formed by applying an adhesive as a resin material that is not completely cured to both surfaces of a core material as the cured resin, and has holes at positions corresponding to the TH and the solder bump, respectively. The first and the second multilayer substrates are then laminated having the bonded surfaces facing each other while having the three-layered sheet positioned and interposed therebetween, and batch thermocompression bonded.

  • Patent number: 7345713
Abstract: An analog-to-digital converter converts a video signal into a digital video signal consisting of N bits and outputs the converted signal. A correction value memory stores correction data consisting of M bits which is used to correct the difference in luminance between display pixels on a display. A multiplier multiplies the video signal consisting of N bits output from the analog-to-digital converter by the correction data consisting of M bits stored in the correction value memory, and outputs a video signal consisting of L bits with which the difference in luminance between display pixels on the display is corrected.

  • Publication number: 20070014546
Abstract: A control unit determines whether a flag for instructing execution of finalize process is set. In the case where dubbing is automatically stopped under any of the conditions “no signal in predetermined period,” “TAPE-END” and “DISC-FULL,” the flag for instructing execution of finalize process is set and thus the control unit executes finalize process. In contrast, in the case where the flag for instructing execution of finalize process is not set due to the fact for example that the user manually stops the dubbing by means of an operation unit, the whole process is ended without execution of finalize process. Accordingly, it is unnecessary for the user to manually perform finalize process while checking a monitor at the spot. Thus, a recording and reproducing apparatus improving the convenience for the user in dubbing from a magnetic tape to a disc medium can be provided.

  • Publication number: 20060066524
Abstract: Gradations on a display unit having spacers and pixels disposed between a first and a second substrates are corrected with corresponding to dispositions of the spacers on the display unit. The gradations are corrected with corresponding to the dispositions of the spacers on the display unit and values of the gradations, and thereby, it becomes possible to eliminate irregularities in a display luminance in vicinities of the spacers regardless of gradation levels.

  • Publication number: 20060066523
Abstract: A display device 1 includes: a display panel 10 in which display pixels Px driven by a drive signal having plural stages of amplitudes and pulse widths are disposed; an output data conversion circuit for an X driver 46 converting an image signal inputted from an inverse ? correction circuit 42 side into a signal having an amplitude component corresponding to an amplitude and a pulse width component corresponding to a pulse width of a signal line drive signal; and a drive signal generation portion 23 generating the signal line drive signal from the image signal converted by the output data conversion circuit for the X driver 46. The output data conversion circuit for the X driver 46 refers to a look up table for an output conversion of the X driver, and converts the image signal so as to correct a nonlinearity during a rising period of the signal line drive signal.

  • Publication number: 20060066643
Abstract: A judging unit compares data in a dither table for each display pixel with a numerical value of low-order 2 bits of an input signal (12 bits) and outputs 1 to an adder when the numerical value of the low-order 2 bits of the input signal is larger than the data in the dither table, while outputting 0 to the adder in other cases. The adder adds the value outputted from the judging unit to an uneven luminance correction value read from a correction memory, so that the uneven luminance correction value is corrected. A multiplier multiplies the input signal by the uneven luminance correction value after the correction.

  • Publication number: 20060066642
Abstract: In an update operation of uneven luminance correction values, a display area of a flat display is handled as if it is divided into a plurality of small areas A to I. Then, in one update operation of the uneven luminance correction values, the uneven luminance correction values are updated only for one of these small areas A to I. Therefore, by performing the update operation of the uneven luminance correction values the same number of times as the number (9) of the small areas A to I, the uneven luminance correction values for the whole display area of the flat display are updated.
