  • Patent number: 8822070
Abstract: A battery includes: a battery element having a cathode and an anode; a package can containing the battery element and being electrically connected to one of the cathode and the anode; and external connection terminal being connected to the other one of the cathode and the anode; and having a plate-like base contained in the package can and a leading portion extending to outside of the package can; and an insulating member separating the external connection terminal from the battery element. The base of the external connection terminal is spaced from an internal wall face of the package can, and the insulating member has notches at a position where the base of the external connection terminal is layered on the insulating member in the thickness direction of the package can.

  • Patent number: 6452322
Abstract: A getter supporter of a cathode-ray tube according to the present invention comprises a mounting portion to be fixed to an inside of the cathode-ray tube at one end thereof, a getter holder for holding a getter at the other end thereof, and a spring portion for connecting the mounting portion and the getter holder, in which a contact support portion contacting with the inner surface of the funnel is provided on the spring portion at a position spaced apart in the longitudinal direction from the position of the getter holder. Accordingly, fine cracks of the funnel glass due to heat generation of the getter at getter flashing and heat generation of the contact support portion due to high frequency for heating can be prevented, and also the deformation of the getter supporter by the heat conducted to the contact support portion and the spring pressure can be prevented.

  • Patent number: 4858016
Abstract: A cathode ray tube having a tube envelope, an anti-explosion band wrapped around the tube envelope, the band having parallel upper and lower arm portions and parallel left and right arm portions, rear extension portions extending rearwardly from the upper and lower arm portions, and degaussing coils secured to the rear extension portions. The structure is such that an external magnetic shield member used in the prior art can be omitted so that the manufacturing process for the cathode ray tube is simplified and the manufacturing cost is reduced.

  • Patent number: 4539423
Abstract: Disclosed is an improved process for preparing diesters of malonic acid by subjecting ketene, carbon monoxide and an ester of nitrous acid to a liquid phase reaction in an organic solvent, in which the reaction is carried out in the presence of a catalyst of a platinum group metal complex represented by the formula:L.sub.2 MX.sub.2wherein, L represents a ligand selected from the group consisting of triorganophosphines, triorganophosphite and triorganoarsines; M represents a platinum group metal; and X represents a halogen or an acetic acid ion.
