Abstract: A biaxial hinge device includes: a first-shaft member; a second-shaft member orthogonal to the first-shaft member; a thrust-cam member provided to the second-shaft member so as to move in the extending direction of the second-shaft member; a rotational-arm member provided to the second-shaft member so as to move rotationally; a protrusion provided to the thrust-cam member so as to protrude to the rotational-arm member side; a groove provided to the rotational-arm member, into which the protrusion is fitted; and an fitting/fitting-release control portion provided to the first-shaft member which releases fitting of the protrusion into the groove when the rotational angle of the second-shaft member as to the first-shaft member is a first-rotational angle, and moves the thrust-cam member to the rotational-arm member side to fit the protrusion into the groove when the rotational angle of the second-shaft member as to the first-shaft member is a second-rotational angle.

Abstract: In a skin needle manufacturing apparatus 10, a material melted in a syringe 45 is discharged from a fine hole 47a of a pin member 47 and is caused to adhere to a base 48. A computer 50 causes a drive mechanism 48 to separate the pin member 47 from the base 48. Then, the material 80 having adhered to the pin member 47 and the base 48 is drawn out. A projection portion 48b formed of a part of the material 80, which has adhered to the base 48, is formed into a skin needle 81. Consequently, a skin needle can relatively easily be manufactured without requiring excessive time, effort, and cost.

Abstract: A press detection sensor contains a base member having predetermined length and width and also having a predetermined shape, a first conductor having predetermined length and being arranged on the base member, and a second conductor that is arranged on the base member with the second conductor being faced to the first conductor. The press detection sensor also contains a conductive contact body that is arranged between the first conductor and the second conductor. The conductive contact body connects the first and second conductors electrically in response to an external force. The press detection sensor further contains a covering member that includes the contact body on the inside thereof. The covering member covers a top of the base member which includes the first and second conductors. The covering member contains at least one of flexibility and elasticity.

Abstract: A method for reserving recording and viewing a broadcast program on a display screen includes the steps of extracting a broadcast program timetable; simultaneously displaying the broadcast program timetable and a viewing reservation timetable; waiting for a selection input to select a broadcast program on the display screen; waiting for an allocation input to allocate a selected program into the viewing reservation timetable; and generating recording instruction to instruct recording of the selected program and reproduction reservation instruction to instruct reproduction of the selected program at a time corresponding to a position at which the selected program is allocated in the viewing reservation timetable.

Abstract: A digital image filtering method and system are provided. A first matrix of a plurality of pixels is selected from a digital image to be displayed. The luminosity values of each of the pixels in the pixel matrix are analysed and the luminosity difference between the maximum and minimum luminosity values thereof is calculated. The central pixel of the matrix is then classified according to the luminosity difference in comparison to a predetermined threshold luminosity value, and the above selection, analysis and classification is repeated for each of the pixels of the image in turn. A target pixel is then selected from the classified pixels for further analysis, wherein a second pixel matrix of which the target pixel is the central pixel is selected, the classification of the pixels surrounding the target pixel in the second matrix is analysed, and the target pixel is filtered to an extent dependent upon the classification analysis.

During printing, if a print cancel instruction is inputted from a printer operation unit, a printer function manager notifies a print command interpreter of the cancellation. Abstract: A method of manufacturing a powder, by which it is possible to adjust the strength of the obtained powder is provided. The manufacturing method of a powder involves a step of preparing a slurry containing agglomerated particles of a synthetic material which is produced by reacting a first material and a second material under agitation, and a step of drying the slurry to obtain a powder of the synthetic material. The method has a feature that the particle size of the agglomerated particles is adjusted by, in the step of preparing a slurry, controlling agitation power for agitating the slurry. In the step of preparing a slurry, it is preferable that the slurry is initially agitated at a first agitation power, and at the time when the viscosity of the slurry approaches its maximum value, or at the time when the pH value of the slurry reaches the vicinity of the isoelectric point of the synthetic material, the agitation power is lowered from the first agitation power to a second agitation power.

A ring buffer monitor image signal is generated which indicates an image showing a relative positional relation of a current recording position and a current reproducing position in the ring buffer.
