  • Publication number: 20210282989
Abstract: The wheelchair includes a seating portion, body frames that support the seating portion, wheels that are rotatably supported by the body frames, an engaging portion, a left brake that brakes a left rear wheel, and a coupling portion that couples the engaging portion and the left brake to each other. The engaging portion is capable of switching between an engagement attitude for engaging a vehicle body member that forms an opening of a vehicle and a disengagement attitude for releasing the engagement with the vehicle body member. The coupling portion transmits the movement of the engaging portion to the left brake when the engaging portion makes an attitude change from the disengagement attitude to the engagement attitude. This operates the left brake when the attitude of the engaging portion switches from the disengagement attitude to the engagement attitude and brakes the left rear wheel.

  • Publication number: 20210206366
Abstract: A hybrid vehicle includes an internal combustion engine and a motor generator, wherein the internal combustion engine includes a variable compression ratio mechanism structured to vary in mechanical compression ratio depending on variation in position of a compression ratio control member structured to move due to driving of an electric actuator. A control method for the hybrid vehicle includes: measuring a state of charge of a battery connected to the motor generator; and in response to regenerative operation of the motor generator in a state that the state of charge of the battery is equal to or higher than a predetermined level, consuming generated electric power by driving the electric actuator of the variable compression ratio mechanism.

  • Patent number: 10814908
Abstract: A lane keeping control device performs lane keeping control to allow a host vehicle (V) to travel in a travel lane (21) in which the host vehicle is currently traveling. The lane keeping control device continues to perform the lane keeping control such that the host vehicle travels toward a branch road (30) ahead, when the branch road (30) has been detected, and a turn signal (WL) has been activated to indicate a direction toward the branch road (30).

  • Patent number: 10266204
Abstract: A lane-maintaining control device detects a lane width (H1) of a traveling lane (21) through a camera (4) and performs lane-maintaining control without a deviation from the lane width (H1). When detecting, through the camera (4), that the traveling lane (21) gradually increases (H2>H1 where the increasing lane width is (H2)), the lane-maintaining control device continues the lane-maintaining control on a condition that a turn signal is not operated.

  • Patent number: 10037692
Abstract: A traffic sign recognition system includes a display for displaying caution information regarding a traffic sign ahead of a vehicle, and a processor configured to execute a viewing direction detecting module for detecting a viewing direction of a driver, a traffic sign detecting module for detecting the traffic sign, and a road surface condition detecting module for detecting a slippery road surface condition. The processor controls the display to display the caution information regarding the detected traffic sign when the detected viewing direction of the driver is different from a direction of the detected traffic sign, and controlling the display to refrain from displaying the caution information when the detected viewing direction of the driver matches the direction of the detected traffic sign. When the slippery road surface condition is detected, the processor controls the display to display the caution information regardless of the viewing direction of the driver.
