    Abstract: A tire has a first rib, a second rib and a third rib. The second rib and the third rib are adjacent to the first rib. The first rib has a first closed sipe that terminates within the first rib. The second rib has a second closed sipe that terminates within the second rib. The third rib has a third closed sipe that terminates within the third rib. The second closed sipe and the third closed sipe are inclined in mutually similar fashion with respect to the tire width direction. The first closed sipe is inclined in opposite fashion with respect to the tire width direction as the second closed sipe and the third closed sipe are inclined with respect to the tire width direction.

The first sipe is provided at a position shifted from the diagonal extension line in the tire-circumferential direction and in a region interposed between planes that are formed by extending, in a direction in which the first transverse groove extends, from a pair of groove wall surfaces of the first transverse groove of the adjacent block rows.

The 2D sipe portion extends in the depth direction from a terminated position of the 3D sipe portion and reaches the sipe bottom. The three-dimensional shape of the 3D sipe portion is formed into a sideways V-shaped form which is bent at one position in the depth direction. Both ends of the sipe are closed within the land portion.
