Abstract: A point-of-sale system includes a registration device configured to register items for a transaction, a plurality of payment devices with which payment for the transaction can be made, and an imaging device including a camera configured to capture images in an area where the registration device and the payment devices are located and a processor that is configured to determine, based on the images captured by the camera, one of the plurality of payment devices as a destination for sending payment data for the transaction. The payment data is sent to the payment device determined to be the destination and not sent to other payment devices of the plurality of payment devices.
