  • Patent number: 8608121
Abstract: A reactor metering pipe fixing device fixes a reactor metering pipe disposed in a reactor to a cylindrical outer surface of a jet pump diffuser and reduces stress that may be induced in a weld zone in the reactor metering pipe. An outer holding member 41 is held on the cylindrical outer surface 18a of a jet pump diffuser 18 by a C-shaped holding member 30. The reactor metering pipe 19 is clamped from radial directions by the outer holding member 41 and inner holding members 42 and 43. Wedges 44 and 45 are wedged into a gap between the cylindrical outer surface 18a and the inner holding member 42 and a gap between the cylindrical outer surface 18a and the inner holding member 43 to fix the reactor metering pipe 19 firmly to the cylindrical outer surface 18a.

  • Patent number: 8212662
Abstract: An automotive display system includes an image projection unit and an angle information acquisition unit. The image projection unit projects a light flux including an image including a display object toward one eye of an image viewer. The angle information acquisition unit acquires at least one of vehicle angle information and external environment angle information. The vehicle angle information relates to an angle of at least one of an attitude and a heading of a vehicle carrying the image viewer. The external environment angle information relates to an angle of a background object at a target position of the display object in a background of an external environment of the vehicle. The image projection unit changes an angle of the display object in the image based on at least one of the vehicle angle information and the external environment angle information acquired by the angle information acquisition unit.

  • Patent number: 8177962
Abstract: The quaternary ammonium compound described by general formula 1 below (wherein R1, R2 and R3 are the same or different hydrocarbon radicals with 1 to 4 carbon atoms, and n is an integer between 1 and 10) is used as a metal corrosion inhibitor. With this metal corrosion inhibitor, it is possible even with the addition of small quantities to adequately prevent corrosion of metal in a steam generating unit or petroleum refining or petrochemical process unit. Moreover, (?-hydroxyethyl)trimethylammonium hydroxide is used as a hydrogen chloride formation inhibitor for a crude oil atmospheric distillation unit. With this hydrogen chloride formation inhibitor, it is possible to prevent the formation of hydrogen chloride itself in a crude oil atmospheric distillation unit without having any adverse effect on the catalyst.
