  • Patent number: 5162832
Abstract: A camera for taking a photograph by automatically releasing a shutter, comprising; a detector for detecting a sound pressure level, and a pre-programed CPU for determining a first period of time that the detected sound pressure level exceeds a predetermined sound pressure level in which the camera releases the shutter when the first period of time exceeds a second period of time, and the CPU varies the second period of time according to an increase rate of the sound pressure.

  • Patent number: 5107288
Abstract: A camera includes a sound pressure section, a release determining section, and a shutter driving section. The sound pressure detecting section detects the sound pressure level of an input sound. The release determining section outputs a release signal when the sound pressure level detected by the sound pressure detecting section is a reference value or more for a predetermined period of time. The shutter driving section performs a release operation in response to the release signal from the release determining section.

  • Patent number: 5066970
Abstract: A swinging camera includes a distance measuring section, an automatic release section, a rotating section, an angle detecting section, a determining section, a storage section, and a control section. The rotating section rotates the camera within one plane. The angle detecting section detects a rotational angle of the camera set by the rotating section and outputs rotational angle data. The determining section operates the distance measuring section in unit of a predetermined angle while the camera is rotated by at least one revolution by operating the rotating section prior to photography, and determines on the basis of output distance data and/or rotational angle data whether objects to be photographed are people. The storage section stores only rotational angle data of objects determined to be people, of rotational angle data output from the angle detecting section.

  • Patent number: 5045872
Abstract: A camera for photographing a panoramic photography which is composed of plural separated picture frames. The camera has a detector to detect an angle of photographing view of the camera, a determiner to determine a rotation angle of the camera according to the angle of photographing view, and a movement to rotate the camera in the rotation angle when each of the separated picture frames is photographed. The camera is rotated as to stay the camera on the same plane when the panoramic photography is taken.

  • Patent number: 5027149
Abstract: A camera for taking photographs by voice recognition operations. The camera comprises a microphone through which voiced command words of an operator are registered in a computer as a form of digital data. The computer identifies the same voiced command words in accordance with the registered data and operates the intended functions of the camera. The camera indicates the functioning of the computer for the registration and the recognition of the voiced command words with a display device so that the operator can confirm his operations on the camera.

  • Patent number: 4951079
Abstract: A camera for taking photographs by voice recognition operations. The camera comprises a microphone through which voiced command words of an operator are registered in a computer as a form of digital data. Voice registration can be done by using the actual camera operating switches. The computer identifies the same voiced command words in accordance with the registered data and operates the intended functions of the camera. The camera indicates the functioning of the computer for the registration and the recognition of the voiced command words with a display device so that the operator can confirm his operations on the camera.

  • Patent number: 4939531
Abstract: An automatic patrone loading camera includes a patrone chamber, a rotating shaft, a detector, and a control section. The patrone chamber houses a patrone. A film is inserted in the patrone in the winding shaft direction while the film is wound around the outer surface of the patrone. When the patrone is housed in the patrone chamber, the rotating shaft is engaged with a winding shaft of the patrone so as to rotate the winding shaft. The detector detects an extracted state of a leader portion of the film. The control section controls a rotating direction of the rotating shaft on the basis of a detection value from the detector.
