  • Patent number: 7536466
Abstract: A sending-receiving system, a sender apparatus, a sending method, a receiver apparatus, a receiving method, a recording medium, and a program for improving the reliability of communication. A TS packet sequence furnished with an RTP header includes audio data. The audio data alone constitutes a TS packet sequence having the RTP header as well. That is, an RTP packet having the same sequence number of, for example, “1235h” is transmitted twice in a row. If the receiving side can receive at least one of the two RTP packets thus transmitted, that means the audio data has been sent intact. This arrangement makes it possible to prevent disconnections of audio being offered to the user. The invention applies to both the transmitting and the receiver apparatus for sending and receiving data therebetween.

  • Publication number: 20080013726
Abstract: A content transmission server which records encrypted streaming data of a predetermined unit to which time information is added and transmits the encoded streaming data to a client, includes: a decryption section; a local encryption section; a storage section; and a transmission section. The decryption section is configured to decrypt the encrypted streaming data of the predetermined unit to which the time information is added. The local encryption section is configured to locally encrypt the streaming data decrypted by the decryption section. The storage section is configured to store the streaming data locally encrypted by the local encryption section. • Publication number: 20070229300
Abstract: A remote control signal transfer system for transferring a remote control signal sent by a remote control toward a controlled apparatus via a transmission medium, the system including: one or more remote control signal reception devices each installed at a separate place; and one or more remote control signal reconstruction devices each installed for a separate one of the one or more controlled apparatuses. Each remote control signal reception devices subjects a remote control signal obtained from a remote control receiving section to sampling, and transmits resultant data to the transmission medium. Each more remote control signal reconstruction devices composes the remote control signals received from any one or more of the remote control signal reception devices via the transmission medium into a single composed signal, and outputs the single composed signal to the corresponding controlled apparatus via a single remote control transmitting section.

  • Publication number: 20060245428
Abstract: The present invention relates to a transmitter and a receiver designed to improve the reliability of communications therebetween. During communication processes under UDP adopted as the transport layer, data having RTP headers is transmitted and received between the transmitter and the receiver. The receiver references the sequence numbers in the received RTP headers to verify the continuity of the numbers. If any data with a serially continuous sequence number is not received, the receiver finds that data to be missing and requests the transmitter to retransmit the data associated with the missing sequence number. The receiver then acquires the missing data that has been retransmitted. This invention applies to transmitters that transmit data and to receivers that receive the transmitted data.

Abstract: This invention relates to a sending-receiving system, a sender apparatus, a sending method, a receiver apparatus, a receiving method, a recording medium, and a program for improving the reliability of communication. A TS packet sequence 111 furnished with an RTP header 112 includes audio data. That audio data alone constitutes a TS packet sequence 121 having the RTP header 112 as well. That is, an RTP packet having the same sequence number of, say, “1235h” is transmitted twice in a row. If the receiving side can receive at least one of the two RTP packets thus transmitted, that means the audio data has been sent intact. • Patent number: 5883506
Abstract: An arbitrary input AC voltage is applied from an external power supply (1) to a rectifying circuit (2), and one rectifying output end of the rectifying circuit is connected to a switching element (4) through a coil (3), while the other rectifying output end of the rectifying circuit is connected to a common terminal of the switching element through a detecting circuit (5) for a current waveform. Further, a peak value wave detecting circuit formed of a diode (6) and a capacitor (7) is connected in parallel with the switching element (4) so that a step-up chopper circuit is formed. A detecting circuit (10) for an output voltage having two resistors (9a), (9b) is connected between both ends of this capacitor (7). The one rectifying output end of the rectifying circuit (2) is connected to a detecting circuit (11) for an effective voltage value, and the two resistors (9a), (9b) for detecting the output voltage of the detecting circuit (10) are selected by a detecting signal of the detecting circuit (11).
