  • Publication number: 20180309940
Abstract: There is described an imaging method and an imaging device including first imaging circuitry that captures at least near infrared (NIR) light and outputs an NIR image, second imaging circuitry that captures far infrared (FIR) light and outputs an FIR image, wherein the FIR light has a longer wavelength than the NIR light, and processing circuitry configured to adjust color of the NIR image based on the FIR image.

  • Patent number: 9113099
Abstract: Protection of a solid-state imaging device is disclosed. One example of a protection unit includes a capacitor connected between an output terminal of a shutter drive pulse of a pulse drive unit and a substrate voltage terminal of a solid-state imaging device, a diode connected between a predetermined potential point and the substrate voltage terminal, and a clamp circuit configured from a resistor element connected between the substrate voltage terminal and a reference potential point. An anode end of the diode is connected to the predetermined potential point to which a potential corresponding to a rated voltage of the substrate voltage terminal is applied.

  • Publication number: 20140211061
Abstract: A solid-state image capture device includes; a solid-state imaging element having output portions configured to output signals read from pixels; samplers provided for the respective output portions and configured to sample the signals output from the output portions of the solid-state imaging element; and a controller configured to vary, at the samplers, sampling timings at which the samplers sample the signals or to vary, at the output portions, output characteristics with which the output portions output the signals read from the pixels.

  • Publication number: 20090100063
Abstract: An improved system and method is disclosed for providing a user with detailed information about a particular location where the user is present. In one embodiment, a user may take a video of the location where the user is present. The user's video may be transmitted to a network server, which performs a video recognition algorithm to match the video to a location about which information is contained in a location information database. The user may then be connected to a network dataset, such as a webpage or webpages, associated with the location. In other embodiments, locality information comprising location identifiers may be obtained or transmitted from the location to a user's portable electronic device. The locality information may be transmitted to a network server, which matches the locality information against a location information database to identify the location.
