  • Publication number: 20250033013
Abstract: A gas production device that makes it possible to raise the temperature of a reaction unit by separating a removal unit from a reactor. The device has at least two reactors and a removal unit. The two reactors are connected in series and are configured to supply an oxidizing gas containing carbon dioxide, and a reducing gas containing a reducing substance. Each of the reactors accommodates a metal and/or a metal oxide which promotes reduction of the carbon dioxide or the reaction between the carbon dioxide and the reducing substance, thereby generating a valuable carbon substance. The removal unit is connected between the two reactors and has a phase separation mechanism that carries out phase separation of a gaseous component and a separated component including at least one of a liquid component and a solid component produced through cooling, thereby removing products derived from the gas supplied to the reactors.

  • Publication number: 20240316534
Abstract: A porous particle has a controlled 3D network skeleton and communicating pores that include the voids of the skeleton and penetrate from the particle surface to the inside, a method produces the same, and a filler for chromatography uses the same. The porous particle mainly includes cellulose acetate or cellulose, is spherical, and has a 3D network skeleton and communicating pores that include the voids of the skeleton and penetrate from the particle surface to the inside. The retention time of dextran with a molecular weight of 2 million at a flow rate of 0.4 ml/min in a column with an inner diameter of 0.78 cm and a length of 30 cm filled with the porous particles is 20 minutes or more.

  • Publication number: 20190210003
Abstract: Provided is a manufacturing method for monolithic structure that is a porous body formed of polysaccharide being a naturally-occurring polymer, has continuous pores with an average pore diameter suitable for biomolecule separation, and allows formation into arbitrary shape. The polysaccharide monolithic structure is manufactured by a method including a first step of obtaining a polysaccharide solution by dissolving polysaccharide into a mixed solvent of a first component and a second component at temperature lower than a boiling point of the mixed solvent, and a second step of obtaining polysaccharide monolithic structure by cooling the polysaccharide solution, wherein the first component is a solvent selected from lactate, and the second component is a solvent selected from water, lower alcohol, and a combination thereof. The monolithic structure obtained is a porous body having continuous pores with an average pore diameter of 0.01 to 20.0 micrometers, and a thickness of 100 micrometers or more.

  • Publication number: 20140311984
Abstract: A problem is to provide a monolithic structure that is a porous body formed of a polysaccharide being a naturally-occurring polymer, and has continuous pores having an average pore diameter suitable for biomolecule separation to allow formation into an arbitrary shape, and a manufacturing method therefor. A solution is to manufacture the polysaccharide monolithic structure by a method including a first step for dissolving a polysaccharide into a mixed solvent including a solvent into which the polysaccharide is soluble and a solvent into which the polysaccharide is insoluble, at a temperature lower than a boiling point of the mixed solvent, to give a polysaccharide solution, and a second step for cooling the polysaccharide solution to give the polysaccharide monolithic structure. The polysaccharide monolithic structure obtained is a porous body having continuous pores having an average pore diameter of 0.01 to 20 micrometers and a thickness of 100 micrometers or more.
