  • Publication number: 20230421084
Abstract: The invention reduces the stoppage of operation due to a sudden decrease in rotation speed. A motor device includes a motor that is rotationally driven; a drive signal generator that controls a duty ratio indicating a drive output of the motor so as not to exceed a duty ratio upper limit value, and generates a drive signal corresponding to the duty ratio; an inverter that outputs an output signal for rotationally driving the motor based on the drive signal; a rotation speed detector that detects a rotation speed of the motor; an acceleration detector that detects whether the motor is accelerating; and an upper limit value setting part that changes the duty ratio upper limit value to a second upper limit value higher than a preset first upper limit value in response to rotation of the motor being accelerating.

  • Patent number: 9457660
Abstract: An accelerator pedal apparatus includes a pedal arm rotating around a first rotation axis line, a return spring and a reaction force adding mechanism including a drive source and a rotation member rotating around a second rotation axis line and having a contact portion contacted to the pedal arm which adds reaction force in the direction to return the pedal arm to the rest position. A first distance from the contact position of the pedal arm with the contact portion to the first rotation axis line is longer than a second distance to the second rotation axis line. The pedal arm includes a contact section having the contact portion displaced while being contacted so that the contact portion is to be farther from the first rotation axis line when rotating toward the maximum depression position and to be closer to the first rotation axis line when rotating toward the rest position.

  • Patent number: 9079492
Abstract: An accelerator pedal device having a pedal arm working in conjunction with an accelerating pedal, a housing to rotatably support the pedal arm around a prescribed pivot axis line between a rest position and a maximum applied position, a hysteresis generation mechanism that comes in contact with the vicinity of an upper end of the pedal arm to generate hysteresis in a pedal force of the accelerator pedal, and an active control mechanism to push back the pedal arm toward the rest position under prescribed conditions between the pivot axis line and the hysteresis generation mechanism. The active control mechanism includes a drive source provided in the housing, and a return lever that is rotated in the same direction as the direction of the swinging of the pedal arm in conjunction with the drive source and is detachably engaged with the vicinity of the upper end of the pedal arm.

  • Patent number: 8794103
Abstract: An accelerator pedal apparatus includes a pedal arm rotating around a first rotation axis line and having a contact portion, a return spring and a reaction force adding mechanism including a drive source and a rotation member rotating around a second rotation axis line in a state of being contacted to the contact portion which adds reaction force to return the pedal arm toward the rest position. A first distance from the contact position of the rotation member with the contact portion to the first rotation axis line is longer than a second distance to the second rotation axis line. The rotation member includes a contact section having the contact portion displaced while being contacted so that the contact portion is to be closer to the second rotation axis line when rotating toward the maximum depression position and to be farther from the second rotation axis line when rotating toward the rest position.

  • Publication number: 20140028844
Abstract: When an anomaly occurs in an optical system circuit unit of a surveillance camera, an error signal is transmitted to an external communicator of a control room through a camera-side communicator. When an error, with a special code, requiring a support service occurs, an emergency contact button on an optical system operation panel, which is used to control operation of the surveillance camera, is operated. In response to the operation, a lock signal is transmitted to the surveillance camera. Power supply to solenoids of an image shake correction device is stopped. A correction lens is centered on and fixed to an optical axis.

  • Patent number: 6289397
Abstract: A flexible magnetic disk drive is disclosed which is linked to a computer via a universal serial bus interface having firmware held on a read-only memory. In order to facilitate the upgrading of the firmware, an electrically erasable, programmable ROM is employed for firmware storage. Each new firmware version is issued in the form of a flexible magnetic disk which may be loaded in the disk drive just like an ordinary data disk, only with the disk drive disconnected from the computer as far as data transmission is concerned. The EEPROM is preprogrammed to identify the loaded firmware disk, erase the old firmware version on the ROM, and write the new version thereon. In another embodiment a self-testing program disk is employed in place of the firmware disk, for performing a set of tests on the disk drive including the interface. The tests are conducted automatically as the self-testing program disk is loaded in the disk drive, again with the disk drive disconnected from the computer.

  • Patent number: 4942491
Abstract: For supporting magnetic heads for data transfer with a stacked array of rigid magnetic disks, a unitary support structure is provided which is formed to include a row of ledges spaced from each other in a direction parallel to the axis of disk rotation. The ledges have defined therein one or more rows of mounting holes which are aligned in a direction parallel to the axis of disk rotation. Mounted to each ledge is a head/arm assembly including a load arm carrying a magnetic head on a distal end thereof. Proximally, each load arm is fastened to the ledge by one or more fastener elements such as screws matingly engaged in the mounting holes. A required number of head/arm assemblies can be successively mounted to the ledges of the support structure with use of a screwdriver or like tool inserted in and through the aligned mounting holes in the other ledges.
