Abstract: A prophylactic or therapeutic composition for hemoglobinuria or myoglobinuria which may occur in humans or animals upon loading of exercise or stress or the like is provided. According to the present invention, the prophylactic or therapeutic composition for hemoglobinuria or myoglobinuria which comprises a branched-chain amino acid such as valine, leucine or isoleucine or a salt thereof, a basic amino acid such as ornithine, arginine, lysine, histidine or citrulline or a salt thereof and glutamine or a salt thereof as active ingredients can be provided.

Abstract: In a gas discharge display panel, first and second driving electrodes are capacitively coupled to each display electrode on at least one of two substrates. The first and second driving electrodes of the display electrodes are formed by a first group of driving electrodes and a second group of driving electrodes by connecting the first and second driving electrodes as a plurality of groups. Specified display electrodes are controlled by selecting the first and second electrodes at the same time. The method for driving the gas discharge display panel includes the steps of discharging all dots in one selected line of the discharge electrodes which are to be written, and of erasing selected dots which are not to be written.

Abstract: A method of driving a gas discharge display panel having first and second arrays of parallel conductors disposed in spaced relationship on opposite sides of a gas filled panel and oriented at transverse angles to each other, the electrodes of each array being insulated from direct contact with the gas by a corresponding layer of dielectric material. Coordinate intersections of the electrodes of the two arrays define corresponding individual discharge sites.

Abstract: A multiplex wiring circuit for a gas discharge panel which reduces the number of driver circuits normally used, by a unique capacitive coupling to the display electrodes through a multiplex circuit arranged on the peripheral portions of the display substrates.
