  • Publication number: 20090170294
Abstract: [Problem to be Solved] To film deposit a group III nitride such as GaN using atmospheric pressure plasma. [Solving Means] A reactor chamber 12 is filled with a pure nitrogen of approximately atmospheric pressure of about 40 kPa. A c-face sapphire substrate 90 is placed on an electrode 14. The substrate temperature is brought to 650 degree centigrade by a heater 15. An electric field is applied between electrodes 13, 14 to form a discharge space 11a therebetween. In a gas feed system 20, a small quantity of trimethylgallium is added to N2, the resultant is fed into a discharge space 11a and brought into contact with the sapphire substrate 90. A V/III ratio on the substrate 90 is brought into a range of from 10 to 100000.

  • Publication number: 20090044909
Abstract: A conductive member 51 is disposed on the side facing to an object W relative to an electrode structure 30 in a plasma processing apparatus. The conductive member 51 is electrically grounded. An insulator 45 is interlaid between the electrode structure 30 and the conductive member 51. The insulator 45 is divided into a first insulation part 41 and a second insulation part 42. The first insulation part 41 forms a lead-out path 40a connected to the downstream of said plasmatizing space 30a between electrodes. The second insulation part 42 is separately disposed on the side opposite to the lead-out passage 40a side relative to the first insulation part 41. The first and second insulation parts 41, 42 can be separated from each other. If the first insulation part 41 is damaged, only the first insulation part 41 may simply be replaced. There is no need of replacing whole of the insulator 45.

  • Publication number: 20070296568
Abstract: A tire condition detection device is arranged such that a tire condition detection signal detected on a tire side of a vehicle is received by a receiving antenna and entered into a receiver on the vehicle body side of the vehicle. The receiving antenna and the receiver are electrically connected to each other via a metal part of the vehicle. The tire condition detection signal received by the receiving antenna is transmitted to the receiver via the metal part used as a waveguide.

  • Patent number: 7295328
Abstract: A method of and an apparatus for determining tire shapes are provided which enable both an apparatus weight reduction and a determination accuracy improvement. The apparatus of the present invention includes: a portable base member; a non-contact displacement gage held on the base member so as to be freely movable along a predetermined scanning direction; a weight supported on the base member so as to be movable along the scanning direction; and means for symmetrically driving the displacement gage and weight while synchronizing them with each other. Using this apparatus, the method includes: setting the base member in proximity to a tire tread portion so that the displacement gage will scan the tread portion; allowing the displacement gage and weight to symmetrically move along the scanning direction while synchronizing them with each other; and determining the shape of the tread portion, based on an output from the displacement gage.

  • Publication number: 20070002515
Abstract: A plasma processing apparatus is provided on the side to be directed to a workpiece W of electrodes 31, 32 with a conductive member 51 through an insulating member 41. The insulating member 41 is sandwiched between the electrodes 31, 32 and the conductive member 51. The dielectric constant and the thickness of the insulating member 41 are established such that the voltage applied to a gap 40b formed between the insulating member 41 and the conductive member 51 becomes smaller than the sparking voltage. Owing to this arrangement, electrical discharge can be prevented from occurring in the gap 40b and thus, the processing quality can be enhanced.
