  • Patent number: 5122558
Abstract: This invention is a polymer containing a plurality of ketone groups in the polymer backbone and containing an amount of a non-volatile, ionizable metal salt sufficient to render it static dissipative. The polymer is substantially devoid of a fatty acid salt, a C.sub.6 -C.sub.30 carboxylic acid ester and a phosphate ester compound. The static dissipative polymer can be used neat or blended with other polymers for use in applications requiring static dissipative behavior.

  • Patent number: 4902721
Abstract: Foamed products are prepared by subjecting a crosslinked polymer such as an ethylene-carbon monoxide copolymer susceptible to heating by high frequency electromagnetic radiation such as microwave or radio frequency which has been imbibed or impregnated with a suitable mechanical or physical blowing agent such as a halogenated hydrocarbon to sufficient high frequency electromagnetic radiation to cause foaming of the polymer.
