  • Publication number: 20180004590
Abstract: Examples include a system comprising a non-volatile memory, a cluster management interface, and a multi-node cluster. In some examples, the cluster management interface may monitor a system critical alert to determine if the system critical alert has been triggered. Based on the determination that it has been triggered, the cluster management interface may multicast a system failure notification. The multi-node cluster of the system has multiple nodes, each node connected to the non-volatile memory and having a processor and a processor cache. Each node of the multi-node cluster may determine if the system failure notification has been received and based on the determination that it has been received, each node may freeze execution of all processes on the process and flush the processor cache to the non-volatile memory.

  • Patent number: 9694810
Abstract: A side wind assistant for a vehicle and a method for the operation of the side wind assistant involve detecting a side wind disturbance acting on the vehicle and reacting to the side wind disturbance by carrying out a side wind compensation intervention to at least partially compensate for the influence of the side wind disturbance, at least when an intervention threshold has been exceeded. The side wind assistant thus reacts to the side wind disturbance in a frequency selective manner in which the frequency selectivity is controlled depending on the side wind compensation or a state of the side wind assistant correlating with the side wind compensation intervention. In particular, the frequency selectivity is controlled depending on whether the side wind compensation intervention is carried out or not carried out, and depending on the duration of the side wind compensation intervention.

  • Publication number: 20160092796
Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer program products for personalizing a ticket for a travel-related service by associating functional data entered by the traveler with electronic ticket files defining an electronic ticket for the travel-related service. A system for shopping for and booking travel services may receive functional data specified by a traveler to personalize a reservation associated with the trip. The functional data may be entered through a user interface and stored in or linked to a Passenger Name Record (PNR) associated with the itinerary. Functional data may be stored in a functional information database and linked to the PNR by a functional element stored in the PNR that identifies a location of the functional data in the functional information database. The functional data may be integrated with the electronic ticket so that both the functional data and technical data are provided to the traveler by the ticket.
