Abstract: A water supply system for supplying water to be used in a processing apparatus includes a water producing apparatus and a water adjusting apparatus. The water producing apparatus includes a first ion exchange resin column containing first ion exchange resin with which the water makes contact, and a first specific resistance meter for measuring a specific resistance of the water having made contact with the first ion exchange resin. The water adjusting apparatus includes a second ion exchange resin column containing second ion exchange resin with which the water supplied from the water producing apparatus makes contact, and a second specific resistance meter for measuring a specific resistance of the water having made contact with the second ion exchange resin.

Abstract: A system may generate buyback guarantee options for a particular vehicle, each option based on a user satisfying respective predetermined condition(s). The system may receive a user selection at a future date claiming one of the guarantee options. The system may determine whether the user satisfied the applicable predetermined condition(s), and whether the buyback guarantee price is greater than the current selling price of the vehicle. Responsive to such determinations, the system may provide the user with payment option(s) for receiving the difference between the buyback guarantee price and the vehicle current selling price.

Abstract: A plurality of data packets encoded according to a first protocol are received which encapsulate data encoded according to a second protocol. A first source address is extracted from the packets according to the first protocol, it is determined whether or not the first source address is a substantial duplicate of a known assigned address. If it is a duplicate, a second source address is extracted from the encapsulated data according to the second protocol, and the first source address and said second source address are provided in an enhanced error log so that a system administrator may correct the duplicate assigned address. Enhanced embodiments of the invention included analysis of data encapsulated by a third, fourth and subsequent protocols, and automatic determination of each protocol encoding format.

Abstract: The coating the tungsten powder particles with a ceramic barrier suppresses the leachability of tungsten in aqueous media. Preferably, the ceramic coating substantially encapsulates each particle of tungsten and has a thickness of at least about 30 nm and, more preferable, from about 200 nm to about 500 nm. Examples of ceramic coatings that may be used include, but are not limited to, aluminum oxide (alumina), aluminum oxyhydroxide (AlOOH), zirconium oxide (zirconia), cerium oxide (ceria), hafnium oxide (hafnia), and magnesium oxide (magnesia).

Abstract: A method and apparatus for tracing troubleshooting events for aiding technical assistance personnel are provided. With the method and apparatus, a user initiates a technical assistance tracing mechanism on his/her client device. The technical assistance tracing mechanism includes event listeners that are registered with the operating system of the client device. These event listeners are notified when, for example, an input device event occurs, when a graphical user interface event occurs, and the like. These events are recorded by the technical assistance tracing mechanism of the present invention as a log of events. This log of events may then be provided to a computing device which is being used by the technical assistance specialist for use in diagnosing and curing the problems encountered by the user. An automated tool may be provided for analyzing the event log and/or emulating an operating system environment so that the event log may be replayed in a graphical manner.
