    Abstract: A marionette having a controller and a puppet. The controller having a pair of control wings pivotably connected at the second end to one end of a control rod. The other end of the control rod is connected to the puppet. The puppet can have a human form with a head, torso, arms and legs. A pair of control strings extend from the first ends of the control wings to the arms of the puppet. The arms of the puppet are connected to the torso so as to allow a wide range of movement of the arms. The puppet is moved by tilting and pivoting the control wings on the end of the control rod and by moving the control rod.

    Abstract: A hand-held device (10) useful for dispensing a liquid material includes a housing (11) containing the material to be dispensed and having a dispensing nozzle (12) and a resettable ratchet (13, 50) operatively connected to a biased piston (30). The ratchet mechanism (13, 50) including a release lever (13) normally preventing movement of the piston (30) until released. When the lever (13) is released the piston (30) is biased toward the dispensing nozzle (12), such that an amount of the material is urged to flow toward the nozzle (12). The housing (11) is configured to be pen-like.

    Abstract: A food drying device of the type which includes an outer housing, a perforated main container in the housing and a drive apparatus on the housing for rotating the main container relative to the housing, includes a perforated auxiliary container disposable in the main container, and including an open-top bowl-shaped base and a removable lid. The bottom of the base has plural radial grooves which mate with radial ribs on the bottom of the main container so that they rotate together without slippage. A central hub on the main container lid is receivable in a central recess on the auxiliary container lid to limit relative axial movement.
