Abstract: A user data management system of an electronic device includes a version database, a reading module, a version obtaining module, a change listing module, an adjusting module, and a saving module. The version database stores version change history for user data. The reading module reads the current user data from a source. The version obtaining module obtains the current version of the current user data, and obtains the latest version of user data from the version database. The change listing module retrieves changes between the current version and the latest version from the version database. The adjusting module applies the changes to the current user data and adjusts the current version of the current user data to the latest version. The saving module saves the current user data to the source.

Abstract: An electronic book reader includes a text obtaining module, a text analysis module, a speech synthesis module, a control module, and an audio output device. The text obtaining module is used for obtaining a selected segment of a text. The text analysis module is used for analyzing a time phrase of the selected segment to obtain a waiting time period according to meaning of the time phrase in the selected segment. The speech synthesis module is used for converting the selected segment into speech. The control module is used for sending the content of the selected segment to the speech synthesis module. Wherein the control module waits for the waiting time period after sending the time phrase to the speech synthesis. The audio output module is used for playing the speech.

Abstract: A method for audio playback in an embedded electronic device includes an audio file list with a plurality of audio files displayed on, a playlist created in a storage module by selection of at least one audio file from the audio file list. An audio file is played in the playlist by a playback module. An operating state of the active audio file is fed back to the storage module. The operating state is acquired and displayed by a user interface.

Abstract: A digital display terminal is connected to a first content server and a second content server. The digital display terminal includes a display and a user interface module. The user interface module is capable of displaying first digital content and a second shortcut on a first page of an interactive user interface shown on the display. The second shortcut links to second digital content. The first digital content is stored in a first content server, and the second digital content is stored in a second content server.

Abstract: A peer-to-peer file sharing system includes a first digital photo frame connected to a network, a second digital photo frame connected to the network, and a server connected to the network. A plurality of files is stored in the first digital photo frame. An address information of the second digital photo frame is stored in the server. The first digital photo frame is capable of acquiring the address information of the second digital photo frame from the server, and transmitting the files to the second digital photo frame directly based on the address information.
