  • Publication number: 20240146492
Abstract: A computing device may communicate with an access point. Data may be communicated using a format such as a physical layer protocol data unit. Different data formats may be used on different frequency bands. A data format may be modified to include one or more additional fields for use with a plurality of frequency bands.

  • Publication number: 20240129906
Abstract: An access point (AP) transmits a trigger frame soliciting one or more trigger-based (TB) physical protocol data unit (PPDU) from a station (STA), the trigger frame comprising: a first indication associated with a first uplink resource allocation for the STA; a second indication associated with a second uplink resource for the STA; and a third indication indicating whether an aggregated acknowledgement mode is enabled. Based on the aggregated acknowledgement mode being enabled and on condition of receiving, from the STA, in response to the trigger frame, a first TB PPDU via the first uplink resource allocation and a second TB PPDU via the second uplink resource allocation, the AP transmits a BlockAck (BA) frame to the STA.

  • Patent number: 10020882
Abstract: Systems and methods for adaptive multiple input multiple output (MIMO) optical orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (O-OFDM) visible light communication (VLC) involving adaptively choosing modulation type, modulation order, MIMO configuration, and MIMO type. A receiver estimates channel information, and based on the channel information, an adaptive controller makes a selection of transmission mode and provides feedback to a transmitter, which uses a set of transmission parameters indicated in the transmission mode feedback. MIMO O-OFDM VLC provides diversity gain (i.e., higher link reliability or better coverage range) and/or multiplexing gain (i.e., higher data rate).

  • Patent number: 8929315
Abstract: One wireless communication network 3 determines an interference degree with the corresponding other wireless communication network 3 for each channel by accessing a CMDB 2 storing positional information, channel information, and respective coexistence methods of other wireless communication networks 3, selects other wireless communication network 3 to coexist, a coexisting channel, and a coexisting method thereof based on the interference degree for each determined channel, and reflects the selected network, channel, and coexistence method to the CMDB 2, and transmits a signal for requesting coexistence with respect to selected wireless communication network, to the CMDB 2, and the selected wireless communication network 3 performs a control for coexistence in the communication space between one wireless communication network and the selected wireless communication network based on the channel reflected to the CMDB 2 and the coexisting method thereof.
