  • Patent number: 10512189
Abstract: A server includes a housing, a sled, a cable sleeve mounted to the sled, and an obstruction in the housing. The housing defines a sled channel and a cable channel. The sled can be inserted into the sled channel. A cable is positioned in the cable sleeve. The obstruction is aligned with the cable channel. Prior to the sled being inserted into the housing, the cable sleeve is in a first position aligned with the obstruction and the cable channel. As the sled is inserted into the housing, contact between the cable sleeve and the obstruction moves the cable sleeve to a second position. In the second position, the cable sleeve is not aligned with the obstruction and is positioned in the sled channel. The cable sleeve is biased towards the first position. As the cable sleeve travels past the obstruction, the cable sleeve moves back to the first position.

  • Patent number: 10418002
Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure provide a method for merging compressed access units according to compression rates and/or positions of the respective compressed access units. The method can include receiving a sequence of compressed access units corresponding to a sequence of raw access units partitioned from an image or a video frame and corresponding to a sequence of memory spaces in a frame buffer, determining a merged access unit including at least two consecutive compressed access units based on compression rates and/or positions of the sequence of compressed access units. The merged access unit is to be stored in the frame buffer with a reduced gap between the at least two consecutive compressed access units compared with storing the at least two consecutive compressed access units in corresponding memory spaces in the sequence of memory spaces.

  • Patent number: 8669464
Abstract: A thermophotovoltaic system is described. The thermophotovoltaic system includes a chamber body, an emitter, a filter and a photovoltaic cell. The chamber body has an ellipsoid chamber including a first focus and a second focus. The emitter is disposed on the first focus, and the emitter is suitable for emitting a plurality of electromagnetic waves. The filter is surrounding the emitter to filter the electromagnetic waves and to pass the electromagnetic waves with a predetermined wavelength band. The photovoltaic cell is disposed on the second focus and is suitable for receiving the electromagnetic waves with the predetermined wavelength band.

  • Publication number: 20130327379
Abstract: A cell has a substrate, a first microstructure and an active layer. The first microstructure is formed on the substrate and has therein a first material with a concentration gradient toward one side of the substrate to provide a first built-in electric field. The active layer is mounted on the first microstructure so as to reduce recombination of electrons and holes in the cell.

  • Patent number: 7596655
Abstract: A flash storage comprises a flash memory, including a plurality of physical memory blocks, each of physical memory blocks comprising a plurality of memory segments, and a plurality of physical sectors, and each of physical sectors being further provided therein with at least a user data column and a logical address pointer column. When physical data is written into the user data column, writing logical address pointer data into the logical address pointer column of the same physical sector may be performed together by the control of a micro-controller. Furthermore, the logical address pointer data in the same memory segment are arranged to be a backup memory segment address mapping table and then stored in one physical memory block. The backup memory segment address mapping table may be loaded directly and stored into a registered memory by the micro-controller when the system boots.
