    Abstract: A chair includes a backrest and a support frame. A plurality of engaging posts are formed on a peripheral portion of a rear side of the backrest, each engaging post having a groove and a transverse fixing hole. The support frame extends along the peripheral portion of the rear side of the backrest A connecting beam includes a first end fixed to a lower portion of the support frame and a second end fixed to the chassis. A plurality of connecting blocks are provided fixing the support frame to the rear side of the backrest. Each connecting block includes a sleeve portion through which the support frame extends. Each connecting block further includes an insertion portion engaged in the groove of the respective engaging post. A fastener is extended through the transverse fixing hole in the respective engaging post into the insertion portion of the respective connecting block.

Each stay has an upper end fixed to an associated side of the rear face of the backrest. The connecting frame has two ends and an extension extending from the connecting frame. The extension is securely connected to a rear end of the chassis. Each end of the connecting frame is fixed to a lower end of an associated stay.

    Abstract: A chair backrest comprises an inner frame, a net, and an outer frame. The inner frame is a hollow member and has an outer peripheral edge. The net is made of soft material and embraces the outer edge of the inner frame. The outer frame is a hollow member made of rigid material and includes a peripheral groove defined in a side thereof and extending along a periphery defining the outer frame. A bottom wall defining the peripheral groove includes a plurality of fastening holes. The outer peripheral edge of the inner frame and an outer peripheral edge of the net are received in the peripheral groove of the outer frame. Fasteners are respectively extended through the fastening holes and into the inner frame.

    Abstract: A waistrest assembly comprises two adjusting seats securely attached to two lateral sides of a backrest, respectively, two connecting blocks, and a waistrest. Each adjusting seat includes a vertical guide slot. Each connecting block is snugly held in and slidable along an associated vertical guide slot. The waistrest comprises a support plate and a pad securely attached to a side of the support plate. The support plate includes a connecting portion in each of two ends thereof. A fastener is extended through an associated connecting block and an associated connecting portion to thereby secure the support plate and the connecting block together. The connecting blocks are movable in the vertical guide slots to thereby adjust a vertical position of the pad of the waistrest.
