Abstract: The present invention relates to a reaction platform, which comprises: a machine body with a bottom plate for placing non-porous substrates; and a coater module configured on the top of the machine body and capable of maintaining a preset of a predetermined height for moving along the surface of non-porous substrate, wherein the coater module has one or more slits, and a target liquid can be directly injected or sucking in from the outside of the coater module through the slit, and spreading the target liquid onto a surface of the non-porous substrate while moving along the non-porous substrate; wherein the surface of the non-porous substrate has a target to be coated. The reaction platform of the present invention can not only save time, labor and cost, but also have accurate and reproducible experimental results, showing better results than traditional methods.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a method for identifying and treating an early-stage hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) in a subject. The method mainly includes determining the level of serum amyloid A (SAA) protein, and providing anti-cancer treatment based on the determined level of SAA protein. According to some embodiments of the present disclosure, the anti-cancer treatment is provided when the determined level of SAA protein is lower than that of a first control sample, or when the determined level of SAA protein is higher than that of a second control sample. In some embodiments, the first control sample is derived from a subject having a late stage HCC, and the second control sample is derived from a subject having a liver disease that is any of hepatitis, liver cirrhosis, or a combination thereof.

Abstract: The cloud-based water quality and leak monitoring system contains a server device on the Internet and a pipe device containing a main pipe and an auxiliary pipe connected to the main pipe in parallel. The pipe device further contains a pH detection element, a water pressure detection element, a turbidity detection element, and a flowmeter element. Various data from these elements is transmitted to the server device via WiFi or 4G wireless communications. The server device stores the various data so that a user is able to access, download, and view these data using a computer or a mobile device.
