    Abstract: A method of dynamically adjusting a long-press delay time, an electronic device using the method, and a computer-readable medium are provided, wherein the electronic device has a plurality of keys. When a pressed time corresponding to a key of the electronic device exceeds a long-press delay time of the key, the electronic device executes a long-press function corresponding to the key. In the present method, a plurality of key inputs is first received. Then, the long-press delay time of the key is set according to the input rate related to the received key inputs. Thereby, the electronic device can respond appropriately according to the typing speed of a user, so as to offer the user a smooth operating experience.

Ticks may be issued by invoking a callback function. Ticks may be issued in a priority order based on the subscriber's category, e.g., whether it is a user-interface process. An application platform may send a tick subscription request on behalf of an application process, e.g., a mobile device platform may submit subscription requests for processes which execute on a mobile computing device. Tick subscription requests may be sent during application execution, e.g., while the application's user interface is being built or modified.

    Abstract: An assembly structure of a rigid body and an elastic body is provided. The rigid body made of glass or ceramics has a chamber and an opening exposing the chamber. The elastic body made of plastics has an indentation and a through hole inside the indentation. The assembly structure further contains an interface element attached to a bottom side of the chamber and has an extension element corresponding to the opening of the chamber. The interconnection between the rigid and elastic bodies is achieved by joining the extension element with the indentation so that the rigid and elastic bodies could be easily put together and separated. The advantages of the rigid body such as robust to deformation and fine surface finish are thereby combined with the advantages of the elastic body such as easy shaping and assembly.

    Abstract: The invention provides a housing for an electrical card, which is an RSMMC memory card. The housing includes a metal cover and a frame integrally formed at a periphery of the metal cover by way of injection molding. A long frame is formed with a long slot for accommodating a control chip. The long slot has a length ranging from 7 to 9 mm to accommodate various types of control chips. The structure intensity of the long slot can be increased by forming through hole slots to be pressed by push needles at the bottom of the long slot when the frame is injected to cover a metal sheet. Then, the substrate formed with the IC is closed and fixed from the other surface. Thus, it is possible to effectively increase the structure intensity of the long slot to improve the function thereof.
