  • Patent number: 7891851
Abstract: A headlamp, developed especially for motor vehicle illumination, wherein the light source and reflector surfaces are fully concealed from the oncoming traffic users, having a light plane with fully adjusted height, operating according to the half-lens illumination principle, providing a long-distance illumination without glaring effect by preventing the all of the light rays generated at the light source from reaching to the eye level (EE) of oncoming traffic users. The preferred embodiment of the system (40, 50) consists of three independent reflector units (2, 3), (12, 13), (22, 23) with triple light pathway, designed similar to clover leaf, having a standard light source (1) located at their common first focal point (f1) mounted in a headlamp enclosure (20). The system consists of a lighting assembly that can be used not only in motor vehicle headlamp system but also in general lighting systems and in all optical devices. The system may be applied as an in-bulb structure.

  • Patent number: 7452115
Abstract: A headlamp developed especially for motor vehicles based on the exact adjustment of the height of the light plane by total concealing the light source and all direct and indirect reflecting surfaces and by using the principle of the half-lens illumination described in this invention. The most preferred embodiment of this invention consists of a single standard light source (1), a reflector group of three units (2,3; 12,13; 22,23) forming a structure similar to a clover-leaf with each unit having its own light pathway, three plano-convex lenses (27,7,17), three flat mirrors (25,5,15), three movable semi-shutters (26,6,16) covering the upper halves of the plano-convex lenses, with the addition of a shield (9) and a reflective surface in the forward-looking part of this embodiment.

  • Publication number: 20070279908
Abstract: This invention relates generally to all indoor and outdoor lighting systems, specifically to an armature (1) containing a reflective surface and light source that can be used in indoor and outdoor lighting systems as well as in road illumination systems where intensive uniform illumination is required without glaring effect, containing at least one reflective surface (2) and a light source. The reflective surfaces (2) to be used with the armature (1) hereunder are divided into two groups depending on the light source they use. These are; a hog-backed (6) reflector with longitudinal channels (8) and latitudinal channels (10), using a stepped light source (3), and a multi-angle reflector (11) using a linear light source (12).
