  • Patent number: 11725711
Abstract: A fastener is provided for receiving a cable. The fastener includes at least one through-going passageway for receiving the cable and at least one pawl like member that projects into the passage and is used for engaging the cable.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: July 20, 2019
Date of Patent: August 15, 2023
    Assignee: MANOMETAL SOLUTIONS LTD
Inventors: Tuvia Segal, Eli Aharon, Amit Hertzl
  • Publication number: 20230160730
Abstract: A method of fluid flow measurement includes a emitting a light beam into a pipe through which a fluid flows, the light beam illuminating the fluid flowing in the pipe, using a light detector array to detect light caused by scattering of the beam with particles found in the fluid, the light beam being outside a field of view of the light detector array, dividing the field of view of the light detector array into layers, and determining an instantaneous flow velocity in each of the layers as a function of signals transmitted from the light detector array in each of the layers.

    Applicant: Flow-Lit Ltd.
Inventors: Joseph Shapira, Abraham Englander, Tuvia Segal
  • Publication number: 20220155116
Abstract: A method of fluid flow velocity measurement includes emitting a beam from a light source via a first window into a pipe through which a fluid flows, the beam illuminating the fluid flowing in the pipe, using a light detector array, which is coupled via a second window to the pipe and which is outside a field of view of the light detector, to detect light caused by scattering of the beam with particles found in the fluid, and determining a velocity of the fluid flowing in the pipe as a function of signals from the light detector array.

  • Patent number: 7809480
Abstract: A method and system for autonomous or semi-autonomous flight of a flight platform with flight actuators is disclosed. The system comprises a stabilization subsystem for controlling the flight actuators to maintain stabilization of the flight platform in flight and a flight control subsystem for controlling the flight actuators to implement flight control of the flight platform in flight. The two subsystems operate separately, wherein the flight control subsystem is overridden by the stabilization subsystem in an event where the flight platform exceeds a predetermined stabilization threshold until the flight platform regains stability.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: September 26, 2005
Date of Patent: October 5, 2010
    Assignee: Steadicopter Ltd.
    Inventor: Tuvia Segal
  • Publication number: 20100116925
Abstract: A flight platform, comprising a rotor rotating about a rotor shaft for providing the platform with an active driving force, and a flight control system that controls the flight based on measured flight parameters that are measured by sensors, wherein at least one of the sensors is located substantially along the axis of rotation of the rotor.
