    Abstract: Method and system for transitioning from a first liquid fuel supplied to a combustor of a gas turbine system to a second liquid fuel supplied to the combustor utilizing a fuel pump configured to supply both fuels from the fuel pump during the transition without shutting down the gas turbine system. Through utilizing a fuel pump and adjusting the operation of the fuel pump during the transition, the additional costs, size, and operational complexity associated with multiple liquid fuel trains to facilitate operation of the gas turbine system with multiple liquid fuels may be avoided. The utilization of multiple liquid fuels during operation of a gas turbine system increase the operational flexibility of the gas turbine system by enabling the utilization of varied liquid fuel sources and/or local liquid fuel sources during a steady-state operation, yet utilizing standardized fuel sources for startup or shutdown procedures.

    Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure are directed toward a system and method to drain a fuel manifold wherein a fuel drainage and purge system includes a fuel manifold and a drainage line extending from the fuel manifold. The drainage line is configured to flow a liquid-gas mixture from the fuel manifold. The fuel drainage and purge system also includes a drain valve disposed along the drainage line, a vent line extending from the drainage line upstream of the drain valve, a vent valve disposed along the vent line, and a drainage trap arranged along the drainage line downstream of the drain valve. The drainage trap is configured to separate the liquid-gas mixture into a liquid stream and a gaseous stream.

    Abstract: A system includes a fuel premixer configured to distribute a fuel to a combustor and a purge system configured to purge the fuel from the fuel premixer. The purge system includes a discharge line configured to receive a flow of a purge mixture from the fuel premixer. The purge system includes an orifice coupled to the discharge line and an eductor having an interior, an opening, and an outlet. The orifice is configured to constrict the flow of the purge mixture. The interior is fluidly coupled to the orifice, to the opening, and to the outlet. The purge mixture is configured to flow through the interior from the orifice to the outlet, the flow of the purge mixture through the orifice is configured to draw coolant into interior of the eductor through the opening, and the coolant drawn through the opening is configured to mix with the purge mixture.
