Abstract: A backhoe unit detachably attached to a backhoe mounting frame disposed on a tractor body rearwardly of a driver's seat. The backhoe unit includes a base having engaging portions for connection to the backhoe mounting frame, a driver's footrest and a control column disposed on the base, a vertical swing axis supported by the base, a boom bracket supported to be swingable about the vertical swing axis, and a boom assembly attached to the boom bracket. The boom bracket is swung horizontally by a single swing cylinder having one end thereof connected to the base through a first cylinder connecting portion, and the other end connected to the boom bracket through a second cylinder connecting portion. The swing cylinder is disposed in a lateral position of the base.

Abstract: A latching mechanism for connecting a working implement to a front end loading tractor or other heavy load carrying machinery. The latching mechanism has a plate assembly, a pivotal coupling device, a cross rod mounted on the tractor, a latch device, and a locking device for releasably retaining a first and a second pivotable members. The pivotal coupling device includes a coupling formed on the plate assembly, and a receiver formed on the tractor for relatively rotatably receiving the coupling. The latch device includes the first and second pivotable members attached to the plate assembly to be pivotable between a first position and a second position. The first and second pivotable members define recesses having an opening for receiving the cross rod when in the first position. The opening is closed when the pivotable members are in the second position, to retain the cross rod received.

Abstract: A device for attaching a working machine to a vehicle in which a heavy weight working machine can be detachably and fixedly attached to the vehicle and a three point link type working machine can also be attached through a three points linking mechanism when the heavy working machine is not attached to the vehicle. The device includes an attachment frame at a rear portion of the vehicle body, and a working machine connecting portion for attaching the heavy weight working machine. Further, a three point link connecting portion for connecting the three point linking mechanism is provided on the attachment frame.

Abstract: A control system for a working machine which has a boom equipped with a working implement at its forward end and pivoted to a vehicle body movably about a vertical axis, and control valve for controlling the movement of the boom. The system comprises a variable resistor for setting a target position where the boom is to be stopped to produce a setting signal, a sensor for detecting the moved position of the boom to produce a detection signal, differential device for determining the difference between the setting signal and the detection signal to produce a difference signal, a detector for detecting the direction of movement of the boom from the magnitude of the difference signal, a pulse-width modulator for subjecting the difference signal to pulse-width modulation to produce a pulse signal, and a driver for driving the control valve by the pulse signal in the detected direction in proportion to the difference signal.
