A braid angle of the braid pattern is 10° to 40° relative to the longitudinal axis. The fitting assembly 10 includes a fitting body 14 defining a fluid flow path 26 between a first end and a second end opposite from the first end, wherein the first end is configured to receive a tube end 12 of a first fluid system component, and the fitting body 14 defines a clip slot 34 adjacent to the first end, and a material of the fitting body includes metal; and a clip 16 wherein a material of the clip includes metal. When the tube end 12 is inserted through the first end of the fitting body 14, the clip 16 is inserted through the clip slot 34 and around the tube end 12 to engage the tube end in a connected state in which the tube end 12 is locked within the fitting body 14.

The fitting assembly may include a seal mounted in fitting and sealable against the core tube upon crimping. The fitting assembly may include a support ring between skived and unskived hose regions. A collapse-resistant hose includes a carcass with an optional unbonded sacrificial layer is also provided.

The wrapped heating assembly includes an outer insulation sleeve and a pocketed heating system that is fixed to an inner surface of the outer insulation sleeve in a manner that forms longitudinal pockets that extend between a first end of the outer insulation sleeve and a second end of the outer insulation sleeve. One or more heater strips are each respectively inserted longitudinally into a corresponding one of the pockets, wherein heat is generated by the heater strips when electrical current flows through the heater strips for heating the tubular member in a wrapped position. Multiple wrapped heating assemblies may be daisy chained together by electrical connectors into a heating system with a single thermostat and linked to a single power source to accommodate a wide range of configurations of tubular member systems.

    Abstract: A hose coupling assembly for attachment to a hose having an inner surface and an outer surface. The hose coupling assembly includes a first member (e.g., a nipple) and second member (e.g., a socket). The nipple includes a tapered outer surface, an outwardly facing groove extending inwardly from the tapered outer surface, and a set of external threads disposed rearward of the tapered outer surface. An annular seal is positioned within the groove. The socket includes a nipple receiving portion and a hose receiving portion secured to the outer surface of the hose, where the nipple receiving portion has a set of internal threads configured to mesh with and threadingly engage the external threads on the nipple. Upon insertion of the nipple into the nipple receiving portion of the socket and the subsequent threading of the external threads of the nipple into the internal threads in the socket, the annular seal on the nipple sealingly engages the inner surface of the hose.
