  • Patent number: 12504395
Abstract: A device for aqueous electrochemical analysis a sensor is disclosed, which may include a sensing electrode having a thin film surface, a counter electrode coupled to the sensing electrode, and a reference electrode coupled to the sensing electrode and the counter electrode. The device also includes where the thin film surface of the sensing electrode may include a uniaxial texture that is normal to a plane of the thin film surface. A method for aqueous electrochemical analysis is also disclosed, including exposing an aqueous sample to a sensor including a sensing electrode having a thin film surface, where the thin film surface of the sensing electrode may include a uniaxial texture that is normal to a plane of the thin film surface.
