    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a vehicle including a plurality of electric motors configured to drive a plurality of traction devices. The vehicle includes a first controller configured to control a first electric motor and a second controller configured to control a second electric motor. The first controller and the first electric motor are coupled to a first communication network, and the second controller and the second electric motor are coupled to a second communication network. The second controller includes synchronization logic operative to synchronize control of the second electric motor by the second controller with control of the first electric motor by the first controller based on a synchronization signal provided by the first controller over a communication link.
