  • Patent number: 10195611
Abstract: A pipette tip orienting apparatus includes a hopper adapted for receiving one or more pipette tips. A first alignment comb is inserted thorugh the hopper for orienting pipette tips inside the hopper. A second alignment comb is inserted through the hopper for orienting the pipette tips for delivery to a pipette tip rack. The first and second alignment combs are positioned perpendicular to one another through the hopper. Pipette tips are delivered to wells in a pipette tip rack by removing the alignment combs sequentially from the hopper.

  • Patent number: 10010639
Abstract: An electrical plug in fragrance dispenser can include a removable decorative sheath. The dispenser can be configured so that, when the sheath is attached, an electrical outlet is completely covered. In this way, the dispenser will have the appearance of a more permanent decorative light fixture. The dispenser can also be configured to plug into two outlets of an electrical receptacle thereby increasing the stability of the dispenser when attached to the wall or other surface. The dispenser may also include an outlet so that the receptacle can still be used when the dispenser is secured overtop the receptacle.

  • Publication number: 20180073208
Abstract: Operational data from vehicles operating over a haul road at a work site may be used to determine when road conditions exist that require maintenance to be performed on the haul road. As the vehicles travel over the haul road, sensors transmit sensor signals with the operational data for locations along the road. An electronic control module (ECM) of each vehicle determines road quality indicators for the locations and compares the road quality indicators to predetermined road quality indicator limits. When two or more vehicles determine that a road quality indicator at a location is outside the predetermined road quality indicator limits, or if the same vehicle determines that a road quality indicator at the location is outside the predetermined road quality indicator limits, a road maintenance request message may be generated that will result in the necessary maintenance to be performed at the location.

  • Publication number: 20170312522
Abstract: A technology is described for an electronic peripheral nerve stimulation system. The electronic nerve stimulation system can include a stimulation device and an electrode array. The stimulation device can be operable to generate a high-frequency alternating current. The electrode array can be operable to apply the high-frequency alternating current received from the stimulation device to selected subpopulations of peripheral nerve fibers within a peripheral nerve to block transmission of neural signals along the selected subpopulations of peripheral nerve fibers within the peripheral nerve.

  • Patent number: 9518789
Abstract: A seal for a heat exchanger of a machine includes a pad and a sealing lip. The pad includes a perimeter, a core face, and a tank face. The core face is in opposing relationship to the tank face. The pad defines a pad plane and an opening which extends between the core face and the tank face. The scaling lip circumscribes the perimeter of the pad and includes a base end, which is connected to the perimeter of the pad, and a terminal end. The sealing lip extends outwardly along the pad plane from the pad perimeter and projects from the core face. The sealing lip including an outer lip wall which extends from the base end to the terminal end along a tip axis disposed at an oblique lip pitch angle relative to the pad plane.

  • Publication number: 20160214778
Abstract: A clamshell packaging for scented wax can serve as a tray when warming the wax within a candle warmer. The clamshell packaging can be shaped and sized to fit within a dish of a candle warmer and can be made of a heat conducting material. In this way, the user can place the packaging directly in the dish of a candle warmer so that the wax is melted within the packaging rather than within the dish. After the wax has been used, the user can simply remove the packaging from the dish and throw it away. The clamshell packaging can include a lid with a number of vents to allow the wax within the base to be heated while the lid is secured over the base. These vents can be configured to control the rate at which the scent within the wax is emitted from the clamshell packaging.
