  • Patent number: 10406674
Abstract: Improvements in a reusable locating bracket for a recessed speaker or light bracket is disclosed. The bracket matches the hole diameter for a speaker of light. The bracket is installed prior to installation of drywall and is used as a trim guide. After installation of the drywall and cutting or trimming of the opening, the bracket is folded, bent, rotated or articulated where it can be removable through the trimmed opening in the drywall or sheet rock. The bracket has folding hinges for retaining side supports. The side supports are typically strips of cardboard, chip board or other material that provides a span from the bracket to studs, joists or beams. The folding hinges have teeth that grip the cardboard and can be opened to pull the cardboard through the retainer.

  • Patent number: 10264338
Abstract: Improvements to an adjustable speaker within a frame is disclosed. The adjustment of the speaker allows for rotation or pivoting on a plurality of webs, ribs or fingers. The plurality of webs, ribs or fingers provide a plurality of bearing surfaces. The webs, ribs or fingers provide an open frame that requires less material and allows for sound transmission both in-front of the speaker and around the speaker. The frame can be scaled to be larger or smaller to accommodate different diameter and depth speakers. It is also contemplated that speakers frame can be accommodate both round and oblong shapes. The frame is a clam-shell mesh. The clam-shell captures the speaker between the two components. The two components essentially snap together to secure the speaker. The webs, ribs or fingers frame allows pivoting with a compression or tension member of a spring.

  • Patent number: 9957445
Abstract: A method for separating a lubrication oil from a waste fluid includes separating water from the waste fluid by heating the waste fluid while sealed in a first vacuum chamber to a first temperature and first pressure. Fuel oil is separated from a fluid received from the first vacuum chamber by heating the fluid while sealed in a second vacuum chamber to a second temperature that is higher than the first temperature and at a second pressure. Finally, the lubrication oil is separated from a fluid received from the second vacuum chamber by heating the fluid received from the second vacuum chamber while sealed in a third vacuum chamber to a third temperature that is higher than the second temperature and at a third pressure.

  • Patent number: 9956499
Abstract: A method for separating a lubrication oil from a waste fluid includes separating water from the waste fluid including a lubrication oil by heating the waste fluid while sealed in a first vacuum chamber to a first maximum specified temperature and first specified pressure. Fuel oil is separated from a fluid received from the first vacuum chamber by heating the fluid while sealed in a second vacuum chamber to a second maximum specified temperature that his higher than the first maximum specified temperature and at a second specified pressure. Finally, the lubrication oil is separated from a fluid received from the second vacuum chamber by heating the fluid received from the second vacuum chamber while sealed in a third vacuum chamber to a third maximum specified temperature that his higher than the second maximum specified temperature and at a third specified pressure. The first, second and third pressures need not be different.

  • Patent number: 9591390
Abstract: Improvements in a fixture housing for recessed speaker or lighting that can be installed from one side of a wall or ceiling is disclosed. Once the ideal location is identified an installer uses a hole saw to cut an opening in the desired location. The fixture housing can then be pushed into the opening. The fixture housing for recessed speaker includes a plurality of engaging tabs that allows an installer to simply lift the speaker into the fixture housing for recessed speaker, and then turn the speaker within the fixture to lock the speaker within the fixture housing for recessed speaker. The securing tabs fold inward to clear the hole opening and then fold back out where the securing ears are brought down onto the back side of the opening to clamp the fixture to the wall or ceiling and secure the fixture.

  • Patent number: 9366380
Abstract: Improvements in a fixture housing with dog ears is disclosed that can be installed from one side of a wall or ceiling. This increases the ability of the installer to place the fixture in a desired location as opposed to using a location that provides the best access on stud or joists. Once the ideal location is identified the installer uses a saw to cut an opening in the desired location. The housing is pushed into the opening for installation without requiring access to the back of the wall, ceiling or floor. The fixture housing uses a plurality of spring loaded dogs that are operated from the visible wall or ceiling surface. It is also possible for the fixture to be removed by lifting the locking tabs and sliding securing ears where the entire fixture can then be pulled back through the open hole.
