    Abstract: A camera slider assembly for supporting a camera thereon including a frame with a pair of rails and a carriage body that rolls longitudinally along the rails upon which a camera can be supported. A flywheel of conductive is supported on the frame and operatively connected to the carriage body for rotation about a flywheel axis responsive to displacement of the carriage body along the rails. A magnet movable on the frame relative to the flywheel acts as an eddy current brake to apply a controllable drag force to the flywheel rotation. The rails of the frame are indexed relative to one another using cross members having indexing surfaces, and clamping fasteners cooperating with ramped surfaces to urge the rails against the corresponding indexing surfaces as the clamping fasteners tighten the rails against the ramped surfaces.

    Abstract: A propeller assembly has a main hub and a propeller hub circumferentially movable relative to the main hub about a main axis of the assembly. Circumferentially spaced propeller blades on the propeller hub are i) circumferentially movable together with the propeller hub relative to the main hub between a first position and a second position against a biasing force, and ii) pivotal about respective radial axes. A pitch linkage mechanism is operatively connected between each propeller blade and the main hub such that each propeller blade is pivotal about the respective radial axis from a first pitch orientation to a second pitch orientation together with movement of the propeller hub relative to the main hub from the first position to the second position responsive to air resistance in the second direction exceeding the biasing force.

    Abstract: A camera supporting device includes a jib arm supporting a camera mount for panning and tilting movement relative to a base structure. A parallel linkage couples the camera mount at one end of the jib arm to the base structure pivotally supporting the jib arm thereon at an intermediate location. The jib arm is readily separable into two portions for storage with the parallel linkage being wholly contained within a hollow tubular member forming one of the two portions while an adjustable trim weight and counterweight support are supported on the other portion. Interchangeable indexing rings permit indexing of the panning or tilting movements.
