  • Publication number: 20250136022
Abstract: A vision system for a vehicle-trailer system includes a vehicle-mounted receiver, a pair of spaced-apart vehicle-mounted Wi-Fi antennas, and a dual-antenna trailer-mounted camera system including a Wi-Fi camera configured to transmit waveforms incorporating video data to the receiver via the vehicle-mounted Wi-Fi antennas. The vision system is configured to estimate and apply phase shifts to video signals prior to transmission of the signals to the receiver. This may provide (at the receiver) a video signal having the best signal-to-noise ratio available for any given configuration and position of the trailer with respect to the vehicle, and despite any obstacles blocking line-of-sight for transmission between the camera system antennas and the vehicle Wi-Fi antennas. This may enable the trailer camera to be mounted at a location on the trailer where it can provide the best view of any particular portion of the trailer surroundings.

  • Publication number: 20250012663
Abstract: A system generates realistic vibrations in a vehicle body. The system includes the vehicle, a power supply, a processor circuit including a processor and memory, and a user interface configured to select a frequency and amplitude for a sound or vibration. The system also includes at least one amplifier in communication with the user interface and configured to: receive power from the power supply and output an electrical signal at the selected frequency and amplitude. The system also includes at least one transducer configured to: attach to the vehicle, receive the alternating current electrical signal at the selected frequency and amplitude, and generate a vibration at the selected frequency and amplitude. When the transducer is attached to the vehicle, the vibration generated by the transducer is transmitted into components of the vehicle.

  • Patent number: 11441456
Abstract: Apparatuses and methods for tuning a muffler. An apparatus comprises a housing for a muffler, a first inlet pipe, and a second inlet pipe. The housing includes a coupling chamber. The first inlet pipe has a first set of physical features and carries exhaust to the coupling chamber. The second inlet pipe has a second set of physical features and carries the exhaust to the coupling chamber. The first set of physical features varies from the second set of physical features with respect to at least one physical feature such that a first sound waveform passing through the first inlet pipe and a second sound waveform passing through the second inlet pipe are uniquely tuned to thereby tune an overall sound waveform emitted by the muffler.

  • Patent number: 11105233
Abstract: A system for regulating performance characteristics of a vehicle includes an engine configured to output an exhaust gas. The system further comprises an emissions system in fluid communication with the engine, the emissions system configured to clean the exhaust gas. The system further comprises a valve system in fluid communication with the emissions system, the valve system configured to regulate a flow of the exhaust gas. The valve system comprises a vane movable between a forward open position, a closed position, and a rear open position. The valve system further comprises a biasing member configured to bias the vane in the forward open position. The valve system further comprises a bypass channel configured to provide a bypass flow path for the exhaust gas to control a backpressure on the vane.
