Abstract: A delivery storage system including a receptacle having a compartment for receiving a delivery and a barrier configured to move between an opened position for access to the compartment and a closed position to block access to the compartment. A lock may be configured to lock the barrier in the closed position and configured to be unlocked to allow the barrier to move to the opened position. A controller may be configured to receive an unlock condition that is provided based on a software application used by a user, and configured to unlock the lock to allow the barrier to move to the opened position for allowing a deliverer to place the delivery in the compartment based on receipt of an unlock indicator, from the deliverer, that satisfies the unlock condition.
