  • Publication number: 20240133540
Abstract: An LED light fixture assembly includes an LED light housing and an installation bracket. The LED light housing has a first side configured to convey light from an interior of the light housing to an exterior of the light housing. The first side defines a bottom side of the LED light housing when installed in a ceiling, and has a first width. The installation bracket is coupled to the LED light housing, and includes a first arm and a second arm. The first arm includes at least a portion flaring out from and extending downward from a first location of the LED light housing. The first arm is plastically deformable to facilitate insertion into an opening having a width that is less than a width between a first point on the first arm and a second point on the second arm on a same horizontal plane.

  • Publication number: 20240082477
Abstract: A reduced-pressure system for treating a tissue site on a patient includes a distribution manifold that adheres to a tissue site to allow retention without external support. The distribution manifold includes a porous member and a tissue-fixation element. The tissue-fixation element maintains the porous member substantially adjacent to the tissue site while a sealing member is applied. In one instance, the tissue-fixation element is a soluble adhesive that partially covers either the tissue-facing side of the porous member or a tissue-facing side of a fluid-permeable substrate layer that is on the tissue-facing side of the porous member. Other systems, distributions manifolds, and methods are presented.

  • Patent number: 10641475
Abstract: A light fixture has a cover, a joystick, a plurality of light sockets, a movable platform, and a plurality of shafts. The cover has a plurality of openings receiving the plurality of light sockets, each light socket spherically movable within its opening. The joystick is from a first side of the cover, and has a distal end. The movable platform engages the distal end of joystick to move in at least two dimensions responsive to movement of the joystick. Each of the plurality of shafts has a first end spherically engaging the movable platform and a second end rigidly coupled to a corresponding light socket. Spherical movement of the joystick causes movement of the movable platform, and movement of the platform causes movement of the second end of the shafts. Movement of the second end of the shafts causes spherical movement of the light sockets.

  • Publication number: 20190012782
Abstract: An optical inspection system includes a first optical sensor, a second optical sensor, and a drive system operatively connected to the first and second optical sensors and configured to selectively move the first optical sensor and second optical sensor with respect to one another. The ability to move the first and second optical sensors independently of one another facilitates the inspection of differently configured parts with a single inspection apparatus, thereby providing cost savings compared to purchasing or building multiple custom inspection fixtures.
