  • Patent number: 11942703
Abstract: A phased array antenna includes multiple antenna elements where each antenna element is an antenna apparatus that includes an antenna integrated with a filter. Each antenna apparatus includes a plurality of resonators where at least some of the resonators are each enclosed in a metal cavity and at least one resonator is exposed to free space to form a radiator element. Each antenna apparatus has a filter transfer function that is at least partially determined by dimensions of the radiator element and the position of the radiator element within the antenna apparatus. The scan volume of the phased array antenna is dependent on at least one physical dimension of the filter of the antenna apparatus.

  • Publication number: 20240090819
Abstract: Disclosed herein are methods, systems, apparatuses, and media for sensing neuromuscular signals. In one example, a device for sensing neuromuscular signals comprises a wearable structure. The device includes a plurality of signal electrodes aligned along an interior portion of the wearable structure, each signal electrode configured to detect neuromuscular signals. The device further includes a plurality of amplifiers corresponding to the plurality of signal electrodes, wherein an amplifier has: a first input operatively coupled to a corresponding signal electrode; a second input; and an output corresponding to a neuromuscular signal channel. The device further includes circuitry configured to generate a common mode reference signal directly or indirectly based on signals from one or more electrodes, wherein the second input of each amplifier of the plurality of amplifiers is configured to receive the common mode reference signal or a signal based on the common mode reference signal.

  • Patent number: 11625856
Abstract: Example localization systems and methods are described. In one implementation, a method receives a camera image from a vehicle camera and cleans the camera image using a VAE-GAN (variational autoencoder combined with a generative adversarial network) algorithm. The method further receives a vector map related to an area proximate the vehicle and generates a synthetic image based on the vector map. The method then localizes the vehicle based on the cleaned camera image and the synthetic image.

  • Patent number: 10928834
Abstract: A method for autonomous vehicle localization. The method may include receiving, by an autonomous vehicle, millimeter-wave signals from at least two 5G transmission points. Bearing measurements may be calculated relative to each of the 5G transmission points based on the signals. A vehicle velocity may be determined by observing characteristics of the signals. Sensory data, including the bearing measurements and the vehicle velocity, may then be fused to localize the autonomous vehicle. A corresponding system and computer program product are also disclosed and claimed herein.
