Patent number: 10391353Abstract: Disclosed herein is an exercise board assembly that includes an exercise board, a support leg, and one or more rocker surface(s). The support leg is pivotally mounted to the exercise board and can be secured in at least two positions, including one to arrange the board in a stable angled configuration relative to a floor and a folded position. The support leg can be locked in a number of positions so that a user can perform different exercises using the exercise board. The rocker surface may support the exercise board on the floor surface when the support leg is in the folded position. When engaged with the floor, the rocker surface(s) cause the board to be unstable, thereby causing it to rock or tilt relative to the floor. Stops may be included to limit a range for rocking of the board relative to the floor surface.Type: GrantFiled: October 14, 2016Date of Patent: August 27, 2019Assignee: Stamina Products, Inc.Inventors: Robert McBride, Tyler Rogers, Peter Ploss, Taylor Hutchens, Newton Lin

Patent number: 9750343Abstract: An exercise device includes a frame assembly having a base portion constructed and arranged to engage a surface, a first frame member and a second frame member, a seat, a crank pedal mechanism, an adjustable desk, and an actuator. The second frame member is configured to movable between a first position in which the desk is positioned closer to the seat so as to allow the user seated on the seat to use the desk and a second position in which the desk is positioned away from the seat so as to allow the user to stand upright on the surface with the user's body positioned between the seat and the desk to use the desk in a standing position. The actuator is constructed and arranged to be actuated to enable the second frame member to be moved between the first position and the second position.Type: GrantFiled: October 14, 2015Date of Patent: September 5, 2017Assignee: Stamina Products, Inc.Inventors: Robert McBride, Tyler Rogers, Peter Ploss, Newton Lin, Taylor Hutchens

Publication number: 20160302571Abstract: The present disclosure relates to an adjustable workstation system movable between a sitting configuration and a standing configuration. The workstation system comprises a body, a desktop, a tilt mechanism, and a seat. The desktop has a first surface configured to facilitate desktop activity by a user and a second surface that is coupled to the tilt mechanism. The tilt mechanism couples the desktop to the body and facilitates adjustment by a user of an angle formed between the desktop and the floor. The seat is coupled to the body and configured to facilitate sitting at the workstation system. The seat is movable between the sitting configuration, wherein the seat and the body support weight of the user when the user sits in the seat, and the standing configuration, wherein the seat is positioned in proximity to an axis of the workstation system to facilitate standing at the workstation system.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 17, 2015Publication date: October 20, 2016Inventors: Robert McBride, Tyler Rogers, Peter Ploss, Newton Lin

Patent number: 9079085Abstract: An exercise apparatus includes a doorway engaging portion configured to releasably secure the exercise apparatus in a doorway and distribute a weight of a user of the exercise apparatus through a frame of the doorway. The exercise apparatus also includes a finger hold mounted to the doorway engaging portion, the finger hold comprising a ridge or groove shaped and sized to receive the fingertips of the user. When the doorway engaging portion is releasably securing the exercise apparatus in the doorway, the user may insert the fingertips around the ridge or into the groove of the finger hold, and perform an exercise by supporting an entirety of the weight of the user through the frame of the doorway via the finger hold. A method of exercising using an exercise device having a doorway engaging portion and a finger hold configured to receive the fingertips of a user, is also disclosed.Type: GrantFiled: February 5, 2013Date of Patent: July 14, 2015Assignee: STAMINA PRODUCTS, INC.Inventors: Robert McBride, Tyler Rogers, Taylor McBride, Siz-Pin Lin

Publication number: 20100022367Abstract: An abdominal exercise device is disclosed that includes a frame and a knee support configured to support both of a user's knees when the user is in a kneeled position. In one embodiment, the knee support is pivotally mounted to the frame. In another embodiment, the knee support swings with respect to the frame. A hand grip is attached to the frame. A user will kneel on the pivotally mounted knee support and grip the hand grip with their hands. By holding the hand grip, the user holds their upper body in a relatively stationary position with respect to the frame. Then, by contracting their abdominal muscles, the user can pivot the knee support upon which their knees rest up toward the can support, thereby providing their abdominal muscles with a work out.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 25, 2008Publication date: January 28, 2010Applicant: Stamina Products, Inc.Inventors: Robert Wayne MCBRIDE, Siz-Pin Lin, John Buse, Robert D.
