  • Publication number: 20260066321
Abstract: A micro-power generator for portable applications with a micro-scale reformer tube having a diameter of 3 mm or less, a plurality of fuel cells within a main reactor chamber, each of the plurality of fuel cells coupled in a cantilevered fashion at a first end to a substrate, the micro-scale reformer configured to receive a fuel/air mixture through an intake. The micro-power generator receives fuel and converts the fuel within the main reactor to a syngas through use of thermal partial oxidation without subsequent formation of soot, and then electrochemically converts the synthesis gas to generate electricity. The reform reaction is made self-sustaining, at least in part, by the heat introduced to the at least one reformer tube by waste gas expelled into the main reactor chamber when an equivalence ratio is maintained above a threshold ratio.

  • Publication number: 20250360283
Abstract: An aromatherapy device is formed by a cartridge body connected to a writing instrument, such as a pen. The cartridge body forms a plurality of reservoirs, each adapted to hold a volatile, scented liquid. Distal ends of a respective plurality of wicks extend into each of the reservoirs. Proximal ends of the wicks extend into a vent housing. The vent housing has a plurality of vent openings, each positioned adjacent the proximal end of one of the wicks. Each vent opening has a vent actuator that allows a user to selectively open and close the vent. Liquid is transported by the wick from the reservoir into the vent housing. When the user opens one or more of the vents, liquid evaporates from the wick and the vapor escapes from the device to provide a source for an aromatherapy treatment, for example, while the user is writing with the writing instrument.

  • Patent number: 12339032
Abstract: An air moving device (AMD) includes a housing that dampens noise and routes airflow. The AMD housing includes a focal-bearing surface that has an associated focal point. The focal-bearing surface routes airflow through the AMD housing and reflects and concentrates noise to the focal point. The AMD housing further includes a noise dampening structure at the focal point to reduce, absorb, and/or dampen the concentrated noise. Because the noise is concentrated, a relatively smaller size noise dampening structure may effectively or adequately reduce or dampen AMD noise. The smaller size noise dampening structure relatively reduces airflow impedance. As such, AMD housing may provide for both reduced AMD noise and relatively reduced airflow impedance therein and/or therefrom.

The rover has a rover body, a plurality of mobilizing legs, and a plurality of stabilizing legs. The stabilizing legs have one degree of freedom and the mobilizing legs have three degrees of freedom. The mobilizing legs and the stabilizing legs may alternate around the rover body such that each of the mobilizing legs is separated from adjacent mobilizing legs by a stabilizing leg and each of the stabilizing legs is separated from adjacent stabilizing legs by a mobilizing leg. The tether is configured to transmit electricity from the base station to the rover, transmit data gathered by the rover back to the base station, and support a weight of the rover and act as a mechanical rappel line between the base station and the rover.
