The frame is configured to move between an open configuration and a collapsed configuration by relative translation between the first frame portion and the second frame portion. The foldable shelf extends between the first frame portion and the second frame portion. The foldable shelf is configured to fold to allow the frame to move from the open configuration to the collapsed configuration. The column transversely extends through a column slot defined by the foldable shelf. The cart further includes at least one column brace slidably coupling the frame to the column. The cart further includes at least one shelf brace slidably coupling the foldable shelf to the column.

The cradle may include a substantially u-shaped sidewall defining a cavity for securely receiving an end of the hang rod such that the hang rod is retained in a downward first direction, in a lateral second direction, and in a lateral third direction opposed to the second direction, when the hang rod is positioned within the cavity. A pair of ribs extend from a cavity-facing surface of the substantially u-shaped sidewall. A modular storage assembly may include a hang rod and a pole cup. A method of installing a modular storage assembly may include mounting to a wall at least one bracket configured to support a shelf, installing trim for the shelf, and mounting a pole cup to a wall via the wall-mountable member.
