  • Publication number: 20160188056
Abstract: A method of electronically displaying glyphs. The method includes receiving a glyph spacing, moving a first glyph toward a second glyph along an axis, identifying an intersection of a first axis coordinate of the first glyph with a second axis coordinate of the second glyph, and moving at least one of the glyphs along the axis to separate the first and second axis coordinates of the respective first and second glyphs by the glyph spacing.

  • Publication number: 20090021129
Abstract: A self-closing mechanism for drawer slides includes a stationary housing, a slider, and a latch. The slider is configured to slide relative to the housing, and the latch is configured to translate along with the slider and to rotate within the slider to lock and unlock the slider at predetermined locations. The housing may be coupled to a cabinet member, with a drawer member adapted to engage the latch as the drawer is opened and/or closed. In embodiments of the invention, the self-closing mechanism may include a damper mechanism, such as, e.g., a cylindrical damper or a rotary gear damper.

  • Patent number: 7374625
Abstract: Methods and systems for applying material onto a work piece. In one described method, path storing path data for a predetermined path for applying a material to a work piece is stored in an electronic database. Length data length data for the length of the material to applied to the work piece is stored in an electronic database. A controller determines when to cut the material. Using a material applicator apparatus, the material is applied to the work piece along the predetermined path. Using a cutting component in the material applicator apparatus, the material is cut.

  • Patent number: 7309826
Abstract: Atomic music segments are visually and sonically rendered within a browser window as directed by a set of interface controls thus providing the ability to directly control various performance parameters while also communicating the intentions of the composer and arranger in a manner similar to traditional sheet music. In certain embodiments, individual voices may be selectively displayed, muted, or attenuated in order to focus a practice session or performance on particular parts. In one embodiment, atomic music segments and their associated lyrics are sequentially highlighted as the music progresses, providing a convenient means for reviewing or practicing music. Each atomic music segment may include one or more notes that have a substantially common onset time, thus providing an essentially indivisible unit of music convenient for user interaction and control.
