  • Publication number: 20160265024
Abstract: A lactate dehydrogenase detector, which is used to detect a content of lactate dehydrogenase in a biological sample, comprises a substrate, an electrode assembly, a hydrophobic insulation layer, a cover and a reagent-containing membrane. The electrode assembly is disposed on the substrate and including a working electrode and a reference electrode. The hydrophobic insulation layer is arranged over the substrate and has a notch. The cover hoods the notch and cooperates with the substrate to form a sample channel accommodating the reagent-containing membrane. The reagent-containing membrane is made of materials selected from a group consisting of a lactic acid, nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD), diaphorase, and potassium ferricyanide. A bioelectrochemical reaction between the reagent-containing membrane and the lactate dehydrogenase induces an electrical signal variation in the electrode assembly, which indicates the content of the lactate dehydrogenase.

  • Publication number: 20160109400
Abstract: A sensor for detecting glucose of rhizome plants comprises a substrate, an electrode module, a hydrophobic insulating layer and a cover. The electrode module is arranged on the substrate and includes a measurement portion and a connection section connected with the measurement portion. The hydrophobic insulating layer is disposed on the substrate to cover the measurement portion and the connection section and includes an opening revealing the measurement portion. The cover is disposed on the opening to form a specimen channel between the cover and the substrate. The measurement portion is arranged in the specimen channel. The electrode module includes a working electrode and a reference electrode opposite to the working electrode. The measurement portion of the working electrode has a first exposed region with an area of 4-6 mm2 in the specimen channel. Thereby, the present invention can detect the glucose concentrations of juice samples of rhizome plants.

  • Patent number: 7806859
Abstract: A safety lancet for taking blood has a hollow barrel with two first slots and two second slots and a detachable needle hub. The needle hub is mounted in the barrel and has a moving base with a needle near a proximal end and a positioning base near a distal end. The positioning base detachably connects to the moving base and has a push button and two stopping resilient elements protruding symmetrically from an outer surface of the positioning base and protruding in the first slots before the push button being pushed and protruding in the second slots after the push button being pushed, so the position base can not move backward. Therefore, medical personnel are able to distinguish easily if the lancet has been used or not.

  • Patent number: 7452366
Abstract: A safety lancet device has a casing, a driver assembly and a needle hub with a needle. The driver assembly and the needle hub are mounted within the casing. The driver assembly comprises a container, a pressing unit, a controller, a pushing unit and a resilient unit. The needle hub is controlled by the driver assembly to make the needle momentarily protrude. After the needle is used, the location of the driver assembly keeps the needle from protruding. When a new needle hub replaces the used needle hub, the driver assembly will return to the original location before use and can drive the needle momentarily from the casing. Users will not forget to change the used needle. Furthermore, the safety lancet device will decrease the danger of infection.

  • Publication number: 20070161960
Abstract: A lancet device has a needle assembly and a needle carrier. The needle assembly has a casing, a needle hub, a retracting unit and a limit unit. The needle hub with a needle is mounted in the casing. The retracting unit and the limit unit connect to the needle hub to limit the needle hub to move. The lancet carrier has a housing, a pushing rod, a spring and a cap. The housing connects the needle assembly and has a pressing unit. The pushing rod is mounted in the housing and abuts with the needle hub after pushing the pressing unit to release the force of the spring so the needle protrudes from the needle assembly. After pressing the cap, the needle assembly releases from the needle carrier. Therefore, the new needle assembly can be mounted in the lancet carrier to prick again.

  • Patent number: 6787013
Abstract: A spacer forming method for a biosensor that has a biosensor possessing a capillary sampling channel and electrical connecting tracks for the use of a specific portable meter. A pair of electrodes is printed on an insulating base plate to be the transducer of the electrochemical biosensor by means of the screen-printing technology. The advanced thick-film printing technology is employed to construct the spacer component of the sampling channel that precisely controls the volume of a sample solution. Therefore, the spacer forming method reduces the usage of adhesive that otherwise causes a serious problem during a continuous punching procedure. Furthermore, the embedded switch pad on the biosensor is introduced to be instead of a micro switch in a connector of the portable meter.
